This is a fab offer.......

Pods seems expensive? But the machine is cheap.

No way! Amazing offer x

just called my local makro. lady told me that the rrp is £36 ex vat. not sure if she was looking at the right product. On the web, price seems to be above £70. In tesco, it is £99.99.

60 squids on amazon, good reviews too

Just been to the Liverpool store, they had a full pallet at the front of the store, 3 per person. picked one up and some of the pods, Bargin!

Loads in the Croydon branch. The coffee sample pack that is included is short-dated, and expires end of Feb 2013. The machine looks good though. It's Delonghi brand (rather than Krups). The pods are too expensive in Makro, at £3.69+VAT. On the official Dolce site, it's about that, but including VAT.

When you register with the website, you get £10 credit for the online shop too. My machine didn't have the welcome pack/code in the box, but I called customer services and they generated a code for me, and I got my credit. There's an offer on which is free delivery when you spend over £25, so it's worth buying your first batch of coffee from them using your £10 credit.

Then I think Amazon sell for about £10-11 per three boxes. Don't buy the coffees from Makro!

They've got these in the Irlam store. Bargain!

Thanks OP. This to me is a red hot deal. Was about to purchase a new unit as my old faithful unit packed in after much use.
Decided I would buy 3 units at such a fantastic price and give the other 2 away as gifts.
Only to my amazement they come supplied with £10 voucher to spend on the online shop.
So essentially I got 3 units for around £42. One happy man.
Cheers
I think you should update you're title to state free Pods included and £10 voucher...........

Can you use generic pods?

Will go check macro Leicester tomorrow, hopefully they have them cos I will definitely buy one if they do. Thanks op for the find.

£20 in Poole store picked one up today

Got one from Glasgow on Sunday for £29.99 - still a bargain and loads on a pallet - no pods though.

Yeah, 36p for a cup of excellent coffee is expensive

Got one from Halesowen (Birmingham/Black Country) - kinda regretting trying two cups before bed - oops!!

Gutted there isn't one near me :(. Would anyone be willing to get one for me and send it on! Pretty please

That is SO cheap.

Pods are £8 something (inc vat) in costco for three boxes - they had cappuccino, latte, americano and hot chocolate in the Glasgow store

Shame you have to be a member. Great price!

You don't pay VAT on the pods - so its £3.65 for 16 if you buy any of the black coffees - cheaper than the supermarkets!

I bought one yesterday at Irlam and 3 espresso boxes for a Mother's Day present - great deal!!!

What's the deal with registering with Makro if you're self employed (but not VAT registered)? Do I just pay VAT at the till? Going to visit tomorrow and register to see if I can pick one of these up.

You just pay VAT at the till - I'm not VAT registered either bu its a bit confusing, you pay VAT on some stuff and not others!!. I think the VAT registered guys still pay it then claim it back on their tax return

Just picked one up from Halesowen , loads in stock at moment by front entrance.

Thanks! Will see if there's any left at Leeds tonight or tomorrow

Got one of these machines - they're excellent.

Yes, pods are expensive, but try Costco for them - £8.60 for 3 boxes.

Note that not all boxes are 8 pods, there are many that are 16 - and you add milk if desired - the ones with milk pods are a waste of money IMO.

They're not fussy - trust me - looking at how empty their giant warehouses are - they need all the custom they can get.

My wife used to be a driving instructor and got a card.

Just bought one from Leeds Makro don't know how long the stock will last im a very happy bunny

Much cheaper than costa/starbucks..

Bought one today from makro Leicester. Quite a few in stock. Did see a sign saying 1 per customer.
Also heard member or staff saying "looks like word has gone out" as I was taking one.

Plenty in belfast

Mate's missus picked us one up. Will make a great Father's Day present as we already own one :-)

Have some heat OP.

None in hull makro although they do have the pods on display.

Fantastic price. Bought one for hubby for birthday.

Had 140 in stock in Sheffield branch on thurs. if that helps anyone?

I have a Dolce Gusto melody. I was initially worried about the price of the pods, but now it's just a must in my weekly shop. Americano's you get 16 pods because it doesn't come with milk... simple, warm some milk and add some. Other brands are by far the best coffee I have tasted. Quick convenient and the family are always round for a cup. For this price, nobody can moan about it what so ever. Truly amazing. £50 direct from Dolce Gusto, but out of stock. Very nice find!!!

Do you need one pod per mug? Im far too tight to spend that on a coffee!
