Excellent, just what I was looking for.. couldn't justify paying silly money for a plastic Sylvanian Families house without furniture just for the 'brand'. Christmas shopping heaven

Always this price at Toys R Us. We bought one about 5 years ago, still exactly the same house. My daughter loves it.

I brought one for my daughters 3rd birthday in April, was £99.00 then so not always this price, good deal

Bought my daughter (6) this last xmas. She absolutely loves it. Comes with loads of accessories whereas other dolls houses prompt you to buy extras . As other poster states, always been this price. Hot.

Always this price at this time of year then....

Got one 2 years ago for our daughter and it's still being used and in good condition.

Can highly recommend the quailty of this if anyone is considering buying it

PS Don't be put off by the 'requires assembly' in the description. From memory it means to add the 'shelves/floor' and the stairs not actually building the 'walls' etc!

I had the task of painting my daughters pink and white looks 100% better for it

Hi , it looks a bit plain i.e no colour, can anyone advise me if it is suitable to decorate?!

had an absolute 'mare 'with their customer service last week in 'Chester' ...even if it were free I'd never shop there again...a really strange place with an odd attitude to customers!!!!:w00t:

Give it a coat of 50/50 PVA and water, then paint as you like

My niece got this last christmas - same price and easy to assemble.

This looks fantastic - wish I had someone to buy it for as can't really justify buying it for myself.:whistling:

This is just what I did, well actually my daughter already had a dolls house like this with the naff strange people in it and then got into Sylvanian, wanted the Grand House that was a fortune so instead we sold all the furniture for this one on ebay and bought Sylvanian rooms for it instead

Also, handy tip with these dolls houses, they look a bit bland so I painted my daughter's pink, around the windows white, door red gloss, silver on door knobs and chimney pots and bought a sheet of dolls house roof tile paper and glued it to the roof. I am SO NOT artistic but this was really easy to do, even got some flower transfers off ebay and put them around the door, and it transforms it from a dolls house that looks like it cost £50 into one that looks about 5 times more expensive (but then I am biaised). Just be brave and have a go - so easy and so worth it.

Depends on age of child, this is very young, big bulky furniture and figures, great for first house,
but Sylvanian much better as they get older, very small bits and expensive but hold the price.

This house is half price almost ALL the time at toys R us!

"Does not include Eliza Dushku"
