Usually £3 - in both original and the no added sugar variety. This was in Tesco Extra in Wrexham. Plenty left on the shelves, hopefully this can help someone.

Thanks

Wow great deal. The stuff is rank and makes a rubbish bolognese that tastes like thick tomato jam with chemicals and sugar but hot hot hot hot from me and I'm voting hot so it gets viewed by all the people who like this junk / feed it to their children.

Out of curiosity, what chemicals are you referring to? I do have to say - I prefer making my own sauce over the pre-made jars.
I don't know maybe I'm just a grumpy bum and should be ignored, that would make sense...

But they use preservatives in these don't they? And like stabelisers? Did I spell that right? I dunno.

And thickening things.

But really what I mean by the taste is that the dolmio sauces taste like dolmio sauce not like something you'd get if you went to an Italian restaurant or had a meal in Italy as far as I know. And to me there is an acrid taste, don't know if that's just me.

And I don't like their Bolognese flavour which is just tooooo Bolognese for my liking anyway, so when I cook it I just do my own thing and avoid over using celery. Some people probably love celery but I don't like being able to actually make out the flavours of the beeeerkwof (definitely not how you spell that).....

Anyway I'm rambling suffice to say that if I had the choice it would be my own sauce with less salt and sugar in it but it would taste better to myself and those who've tried it say it's great - on the other hand it costs more than 73p to make so if you're not bothered about how it tastes and you just want spaghetti with red stuff this is the way forward.

Apparently they say on the jars that they shouldn't be eaten more than once a week now? Odd, again, it is cause it's high fat and salt and sugar no doubt.
