45
Found 28th Feb 2014

I can't find these kits anywhere else but to buy the items separately would cost £3.32 at Tesco.

Really? I searched a few of the online supermarkets for the kit but I could only find the smaller box kits with the small sachets of sauce in. They were over £4 and had much less in.

yes they were on the top shelf, far end of the aisle, still worked out cheaper than buying the stuff separate, never really realised how expensive lasagne sauces are compered to bolognaise/curry sauces, and I'm yet to find a "chosen by you" or "smart price" one.

They are ridiculously expensive. I usually buy a bolognese sauce and make my own cheese sauce which is slightly cheaper but it takes ages to make and I can't always be bothered after a long day. Think i'll be stocking up on the kits

voted hot £1 each jar is norm a good deal for me

kids wanted lasagne today, i was due to go into home bargains anyway, nice one.

totally agree, lasagne sauces are overpriced considering how much they cost to make (probably tastier homemade but i am lazy), I usually need 3 white and 3 red for my lot (they like some the next day) so its quite expensive at full whack.

Great value! Hot.

Grabbed a few of these myself this week, bargain.

£3.99 for a meal that serves 4? seems quite reasonable £1 per person...

Do these things make decent lasagne?

Great find Vics, very good bargain there and heated Such a shame there's no Home Bargain around me

You need to add mince too, and cheese. Don't forget Lidl have 500g of fresh mince for £1 this weekend, you have to get there early though or the OAPs get them all!

Congrats on your hottest deal & Saturday's hottest deal of the day

Sorry I mean, how they can sell it for that price when you can get the three ingredients separately for less.

Lidl have 500g of fresh British Mince on for £1 and Red peppers for 32p (each) this Sat-Sun (where I live) Mmmm!

Thanks steve but they're the smaller packs. They just have a small sachet of each sauce in rather than the big jars

That was what I looked like tucking in to my lasagne last night X)

I've had to work in Italy a few times, and trust me this kit is good value now they use the euro.

Personally I find these disgusting... They taste cheap and tacky.

Normally I'd point out the 6 per person rule, but I think they've scrapped it? People today were buying 10 or 12 at once!

Depends on the store I think, the one I went into had a hand written sign stating 6 per customer.

Less for more! Sounds news letter worthy to me.
