A full-bodied and densely textured red from the Southern Rhone which combines rich, plum fruit flavours with an attractive note of savoury spice. The wine is unoaked and displays supple tannins, juicy fruit and a long, silky finish.

ABOUT THIS WINE: Domaine du Donjon des Dames is a vineyard covered with large limestone pebbles in a beautiful setting between Orange and Vacqueyras. The area spends a large part of the year bathed in sunshine and swept by the local Mistral wind, which means the grapes ripen fully and problems with rot are virtually unheard of.Winemaker Didier Couturier has experience of blending wines from all over the Rhone Valley and believes the region has the potential to make wines to rival those of Burgundy or Bordeaux. He is equally passionate about Grenache, describing the grape as 'one of the world's finest red varieties'. This Grenache-based blend he has created for us is indeed a wonderfully expressive and heart-warming wine that we are very proud to list

This is a cracking wine and the RRP is correct.

Quidco available too. Makes it approx £3 per bottle....

I would have thought that if you're a restaurant you would have a suppliers account with someone and would get wine at this sort of discount anyway?

Either way, just because it's 60% off doesn't mean it's good. Especially as it's French which normally spells over priced.

Although I'm not confirming that. I'd be interested to see a review.

Out of stock already

try again in a few days they may have more stock, this has happened to me on other wine XX
