not at all mate, if people are struggling to make an income and need to subsidise their lifestyle by having 2 or 3 jobs then i say good luck to them, bit of fun from me but for some critically important ,imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

feel a bit stupid now. I have never been anywhere with a greater than 2 hours difference - thanks. In that case I won't be going to the Dominican Republic! Cannot stand the thought of being stuck on a plane for hours.

We have to define "very good Tripadvisor reviews"...
63% rating ? 740 out of 1800 opinions are "average" "poor" or "terrible" ? 72th out of 101th hotel on the island ? Is that very good ?? All that means to me I would not mind paying a bit more to find a better deal.
To pay this kind of price for a holiday, I want to make sure I don't get disappointed with the hotel.
This summer, I go to the hotel Phenicia in Hammamet (Tunisia). It has 86% rating and ranked 3rd out of 128 hotels... All the latest reviews are all great, so I go over there very confident and ready to enjoy my stay. Not that I worship Tripadvisor, but I am sure you get what I mean.
