Better to reduce their over priced pizza by 50% and have clear honest pricing.
Don't understand people who comment on take out threads by saying 'just make your own it's cheaper'.
Has it not occured that I can't be bothered making my own hence why i've clicked on this lol.
To add, I'm assuming your kitchen doesn't have overheads, lots of branches nationwide and staff that needs paying.
Fair enough it might only cost like £1.50 for the ingredients to make their pizzas but it sure as hell doesn't cost £1.50 to run multiple businesses.

I'm happy that people, who voluntarily pay the higher price, subsidise everyone else who get 50% 'off'. Having less flexible pricing means fewer deals and higher overall pricing.

It most definitely doesn't cost £1.50 for the ingredients, either. A large pizza will set you back £5 in ingredients very easily even if you make it on your own. Sure, pizza places buy the ingredients en masse and pay much less, but making your own pizza is not as cheap as some people make it out to be. Not to mention, sorry but Domino's is most likely significantly tastier than anything you will conjure up at home, especially when if comes to proper heating and dat crust.

Yup same here. No way that I could pay £8 for a large pizza any night of the week at my local one. Without a few suckers paying full price

I would hazard a guess that Domino's has better quality ingredients and pays their staff fairly compared to your local one.

I meant my local domino's, never paid more than £8 for a large pizza even on weekends.
I can just buy a lump of lard instead. Much cheaper.

But not better ingredients than I have in my kitchen to make fresh pizza that would blow this bread topped grease layer out of the water any day of the week.

Can you make me one too?

If you pay. Or just get some 00 flour, some yeast, a pinch of salt, olive oil, milk and warm water to make the dough.

Pasata and whatever topping you fancy to make the rest.

It is really easy to do and the dough freezes well.

Believe me when you do it yourself you'll never buy pizza from anywhere again to eat at home.

I've made lots of pizzas myself in my uuni, yes they're extremely nice, but I still love the convenience of a Domino's...

How, if buying a single large (not buy one get on free on collection as you as you pay more than £8 in total - do not average out the price)?

If it's convenient for you to Collect, before doing this offer just double check they're not doing £6.99 any pizza any size for Collection. With these 50% off pizzas on delivery, some stores like to add even better collection deals to encourage people to come in still. Stores can't magic up new drivers for these offers, so savvy franchises will still try to make collection more appealing as they wouldn't be able to cope with the extra deliveries.
Love dominos🔥 NHS staff get 50% off on collection and 25% off delivery. This is valid all year and no minimum spend required. I always buy a large tandoori hot pizza and swap the mushrooms for pepperoni🔥
When does this deal expire?

For NHS staff is that only on original price? Or can you combine that with another deal - most of the time we do delivery but end up with some sort of deal to get 25-50% off anyway.
Also when making the order how do you apply the NHS discount before paying?

I think it’s only on original price, but you can always try😜 I always order on phone and ask if they will give me 50% nhs discount. I show my nhs id on collection. They now recognise my phone number and I order the same pizza everytime with no need to show id.

50% off most of the time. Over priced pizza even with a discount.
Bring back the Italiano range! I miss the Roma pizza
It's always this price. Still too expensive.

It’ll be collection only deal and 2 toppings only
Yet to meet anyone who has ever paid for a full price Pizza Hut or Dominoes.
You could give the other 50% saved to the nhs which you will need later on in life when your fat and have blocked arteries

Wise up, the are making multimillions not losing money so talking about average paid staff etc doesn't really make sense, on the other hand yeah a lot of the time it's a lot handier to order a pizza etc.....

2 toppings! They are so stingy on toppings as it is.
I suppose the American concept is no toppings!

My wife would scream if I purchased a pizza with just 2 toppings!

They need to bring back 50% off pizza AND sides, haven't seen a voucher for that for ages at Domino's
I'm not sure how this works but stuff came to a lot more than their BOGOF the other night so we didn't bother.

You would think that BOGOF and 50% off would work out about the same but it didn't

With BOGOF you only get the cheapest pizza FREE, so if the 2 pizzas are different prices then it won't work out the same as 50% off the total price.

My local is doing 50% off pizza and sides with code ‘DINEON50’. Doubt it’s nationwide though.
It's actually 50% off pizzas on a £20 spend. You can buy a £18.99 pizza and a cheap add on (dip and chili flakes) to get over £20 and the pizza is half price.
Damn it's £19.99 at my local now ...

2 for £5 on sides at the moment is almost half price.

I noticed people paying £19.99 on large pizzas, its £1 less up north.

Just add chili flakes for 5p, half price pizza
