Hi all,

All props go to thebaron69 for this one. This is posted with all credit to him.

Very.co.uk are offering new credit accounts £30 off £60 orders with the code 4KMY4. (NB: You can also get £25 off of a £50 spend if you are an existing customer with the code 4R64X. UPDATE: May have expired.)

NB: You do have to set up an account with them, but you can pay for your items straight away and not face any interest.

You can get DK:TF for £35 from their site - very.co.uk/nin…prd

You can get a Wii U Pro Controller for £39 - very.co.uk/nin…prd

That makes the two together £74. Then there is a delivery charge of £3.95. The total is £77.95. After the £30 discount makes it £47.95.

TCB tracked my order at £3.57 (although it should have been a little higher, according to their percentages). This may not go through as a code is used. This COULD bring the total to £44.38.

The Wii U Pro controller is currently £39.99 on Amazon, and has only dropped to around £29 previously on HUKD. Even if you subtract £29 from £44.38, this makes DK:TF £15.38! Or, you could say they are both £22.19. Or, again, considering the current John Lewis deal for DK:TF is £32.89, that would make the Pro Controller £11.49. Add £3.57 to them if you don't want to rely on TCB. Any way you cut it, it's a pretty good deal, and would make it the cheapest DK:TF and the Wii U Pro Controller have been to date!

FYI - I purchased this and it has successfully been "accepted" by Very.co.uk.

Hope someone gets good use out of it! :-)

PS There are some other codes too:-

4QR9L - £25 off First Credit Orders Over £50 (valid till 31 JANUARY 2015)

4KMY4 - £30 off First Credit Orders Over £60 (valid till 31 JANUARY 2015)

4R64X - £25 off when you spend £50 for existing customers (UPDATE: May have expired. Please try and see.)

PPS They also have Wiimotes at £37 if you would prefer one of them. - very.co.uk/gam…end

I see the PS and XBox fanboys are out in full force voting this deal cold. I don't see why. Taking Amazon prices, DK:TF is £33.46 USED and the Pro Controller is £33.58 USED. That's £67.04 for both for used items - £20 more than this deal for NEW items.

Crazy people ruining this deal for everyone else.

EDIT: This made me sound like a fanboy. Sorry!

It's still a good deal. Use the £25 off code for current members. Only makes it £52.95, which is still only £26.47 for each item... i.e., still cheaper than you can get them anywhere else, cheaper than Wii U pro controller has been, and almost as cheap as DK:TF has been previously (£25). And that's not even including TCB.

That comment makes you sound like a nintendo fanboy. You have no idea why people are voting cold but saying its fanboys just makes you sound like one.

Any reason for that? Not used Very.co.uk before, so no experience of this? My plan was to pay, get the items, then close the account.

code won't work for me I'm existing member

Sorry for seemingly obvious question, but did you make sure you tried the existing member code? - 4R64X

I set up a stock alert. they've been randomly getting dribs and drabs of stock available to buy online, I suspect either returned by customers or returned by stores to their central warehouse.

The price is good but Very's the issue here. Very, Littlewoods and the likes aren't just something to go along with unless you like their system.

Well I wish I knew people hated Very this much; I would never have posted! :-D

I've never used them before, so thought I'd give it a go.

best of luck to you. this was actually the second one I set up, after missing out the first time. it came through at 06:02, which is very similar to the first one I missed out on. be aware though; once they email you it turns the stock alert off. so if you miss out, set another one up otherwise you'll miss out again.

It's not that people hate it but more so that their system is flawed and needs to be improved immensely but considering customers who use Very are the kind to buy now and pay bit by bit, although not all are like this.

You can buy it from rakuten for £35.84 and get 25% back in points so about £8.85 back in points so works out about £27. Lots on the site at good prices so points are as good as money:

Thanks for the info! Points good if you will buy from there again, for sure!

Ive had no problems with very and because i hardly ever buy anything they send me discount codes like £15 off £30 which i used on Donkey kong and with delivery came to £23.95. The game came 5 days after i ordered it.

I used very and code last year, on a limited edition zelda 3dsxl, got it delivered for cheaper than its ever been or going to be, didn't have any problems with them what so ever! If u set up an account just pay full account off and cancel.. Simple. Heat added op, just shame the existing customer code has expired as in need of 12 months xbox live gold :-(
