Not the 2-disc Director's cut blu-ray but it's the cheapest this cult classic blu-ray has ever been.

Good film this - real brain twister

Eirgh, the original? Why would they even release this?

Great film, shame its not the directors cut though!!

Looks like they're releasing a 10 year anniversary edition in July.

Because of all the mugs on HUKD who love wasting money on blu-rays they can watch for free on TV.

I have both the Director's Cut and the Original Version on dvd - got them both free with Sunday newspapers a couple of years ago!

Giving this some heat. Directors cuts usually edge out original cinematic releases, but in this case, I'd say it's a good job the studios producers changed things around in the way that they did.

The directors cut treats you a bit like an idiot, spelling things out for you a little too much, and the order and choice of the soundtrack is way better in the original cut.

That's what Sky+, Virgin V+, DVD Recorders & PVRs are for /facepalm

Don't get me wrong, I love this film, but it really doesn't benefit from being on Blu-Ray If you already have it on DVD I'd advise you to skip this one, as the Blu-Ray quality isn't any improvement.

Still given heat tho

How dare you speak complete and utter sense !!

The directors cut has a bit of story behind it on this one. The original cut was the directors original intended cut. The film was released in the States and sank without a trace. Then it was released in the UK and became a hit. So they went back to the film and did a new cut of it so that they could justify re-releasing it in the States with a fresh promotional drive and saying it was a big hit over here.
So the DC on this is a con. It's just an alternate cut, largely considered inferior, produced purely to make money, not for artistic reasons.
