This or the Huawei p20 Pro
I had this same problem. Got refunded by Amazon, and they honoured the price guarantee. So I got an actual BL5000 for £60

The price guarantee apparently does not apply to mispricing or incorrect descriptions

Doogee cheap phones are full of viruses. I fell for one , the specs were too good to be true like this one. Turned out ROM was full of viruses which could not be removed. If it is too good to be true, it really is .Please scan with antivirus and see how you are scammed.

Oh no, not this again... I got screwed over by Amazon for this before!

It's easier to stay away
Placed my order for this exact ASIN in Feb 2018. Today is 30 July 2018 and it's not arrived yet. Previous Amazon error on this model resulted in significantly lesser X10 being despatched / returned & refunds, although some peeps extorted other sweeteners.
By a quirk of fate, I ended up with Amazon effectively paying me about £2 to have a Doogee BL5000. I was chuffed. However, five months later, it developed a terminal battery drain problem and I sent it back for a refund. This refund turned into some adidas trainers for my wife and 30kg of Harringtons dog food for my Collies. I'll not be taking a punt on this. Its not worth the significant hassle.
Thanks for the tip, OP. Have read the comments in this thread and have rushed in anyway, fool that I am. Looking forward to my Galaxy Note 8. Heat added.
Despite the advice im gonna have a punt. If they dont send a 5000 no biggie to send it back. Heat added.
me Too. Thank you
Its probably an MTK CPU
If you want one but has bad ratings

Highly likely they won't send anything, cos it ain't in stock, and they ain't getting any stock.
The only saving grace is that they won't charge your payment card until they send you summat that their supplier says is the phone you expect, but recent history shows it won't be the model you ordered. So in xx weeks time when you have forgotten about it, your card will be hit for payment for some random item that you will then have the hassle of arguing about as "not as described." You may be a winner and have your Prime membership extended by a month, or you may be unlucky and exceed the invisible returns threshold that effectively provides refund and closes your account. Your choice to proceed or not.

Wow...lol

Have prime and buy a lot from Amazon. Never had any issue sending stuff back that didnt meet its description. Drop it off at local corner shop (it is actually on a corner) refunded within minutes.

I've taken a screenshot that clearly states model and spec.

And happy to wait for 48 quid to drop on my credit card. If it does it does, if not then it doesn't. I won't forget as its in my order list and it wont break the bank either.

Thanks for your positive wisdom.
confused, ordered in case it is genuine
Have ordered one for my mum, can always return it if it's not as described.

I sent them a email regarding the specs and model number they confirmed it was correct I would do that too just in case so you have it in writing from them.

Consider replying to the spec/model confirmation to ask Amazon CS to confirm two further items: the expected "release date" of the BL5000, and how long after release date Amazon expect to have stock (hint: the BL5000 was released 12m ago in July 2017).
Doogee style or just dodgy?

Yes email amazon you can add what andyroyd has said in the comments in your email too.

I had a F3 pro a couple of years ago and it was very cheaply made
Sorry sent before I'd finished... Cheaply made and very very poor battery life, usb port broke and just not worth it. Replaced it with a redmi 4x which was about the same price and it's in a different league, a far superior build and no issues at all.

I second this. I got stung twice, gave one to my mum and she kept saying things kept popping up, I didn't believe her, thought it was a case of PICNIC (problem in chair not in computer!) but on inspection it was malware embedded in the ROM that was serving full-screen ads. I did tell people on HUKD and the Chinese-phone-fanboys told me I was lying and spreading FUD. By the way, some of the anti-virus software can't find it as it's in embedded in the system file which it cannot normally gain access to, and even if it can, it can't wipe it.

As Sam says, if it's too good to be true, it really is.
Worth a punt for my son who bust his screen last night and is sulking with an old LG K4 temporary replacement. Shall email customer services to confirm details and delivery to be sure.

Polite suggestion to consider other replacement options. Amazon has no stock of this specific phone and highly likely will not be receiving any.

Screenshot of description? How very quaintly retro. Consider contemporary alternative of 3rd-party permanent archive URL, where the text within the 30 July 2018 archive URL for this item indicates the positive wisdom that peeps seem to want to dismiss:
