probably cause it won't work, paper specs mean nothing.

i own an Elephone P8 Mini, very similar specs.

Worked great for a week then starts playing up! SMH!
Wifi randomly stops transmitting data. Bluetooth randomly stops connecting. Adaptive brightness randomly doesn't work. No manufacturer support.
No idea how its possible. Its like the 1s and 0s become 0.5s. Not possible to comprehend!

because camera in these cheap phones is abysmal. better to use the camera of a nokia 3210..

Such a shame the camera is rubbish in Chinese phones, otherwise this would be a steal.

Although the camera on the P8 Mini is actually quite good to be fair! lol
shame its about as reliable as an Austin Montego!

What do you expect for under £75? Maybe compare it with the latest iPhone?

I have this phone, and have problems with my WiFi locking up 3 times a day on average. I have to switch on airplane mode, switch WiFi back on, then switch airplane mode back off in order to get it working again. It's a pain. Strangely it worked fine for the first month. Tried a factory reset, but the problem returned within a day or two.

Also, yes, the camera is pretty bad. Everything looks a little blurry.

It's cheap for a reason!

Looks good for the money with a near 3 day battery for many. Its a £140 or so mid end budget phone so at tjhis price its cheap.

Wifi problems usually relate to the router.

For it to work. Nobody expects it to be the same quality as a grand's worth of phone, but no matter how cheap it is, a phone that doesn't work isn't worth anything. If you can't get online, if you miss calls, if it randomly reboots then it's not worth buying at any price.

I'd rather it had less ram, no fingerprint scanner and only a quad core CPU, if that meant money could be spent making it actually work.

Not all cheap Chinese phones are bad, either. Xiaomi stuff's good. Huawei, ZTE, Lenovo and OnePlus are well known over here. Other brands tend to be hit or miss. Crappy GPS, no software updates, stability problems, terrible cameras.

Sounds exactly like the P8 Mini's wifi lol

LadyEleanor, i work in IT support and connect to multiple Wifi networks daily, ain't nothing wrong with the various Access Points, just the phones.
If it can't do the basics right then its an expensive paper weight.

You work IT and you connect to multiple Wifi networks daily! Not your average user. And you quote a different brand without qualifying the wifi chipset or wifi software version.

Oh my!

Thanks, ordered .
Don't know why link wouldn't work.
Basically the phone is a bargain for the cash.
Thanks again.

It's a deal for the specs!

Reviews don't seem bad and are all based on at least double the price. Bought for my boy who usually ends up with hand me down phones. Plays YouTube mostly so massive battery sold it for me.

40k in antutu benchmark. Bit less than samsung galaxy s5

Won't play YouTube videos then ?

Battery is garbage don't bother its the only selling point and just not worth it

I know why I don't comment usually on this site.....I forget sometimes.

It will but don't expect lightning fast phone.

This deal looks better: LeEco x626 with 87k antutu score

Of course the Leeco is all round better, high end and apart from the battery, B20, the OS and being an import.

The LeeCo, amongst many other things, even has its own separate VP9 hardware decoder, plus an 11th core used for music decoding etc.

So what are you saying? i do more testing than the average user so i can confirm that my particular phone has wifi issues. And they sound very very similar to the earlier poster's issues. Common denominator starting to show that the wifi in these phones have issues. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work that out.
Also the average user doesn't care which chipset or driver/software is working with the wifi hardware. They just want it to work. We have shown it doesn't just work. Simples. And this isn't a windows platform where u can just go and download a specific driver to test it out.
My last 4 phones were Motorola, Sony, Motorola and Nokia. None of them had wifi issues.

So we are letting folk know that these cheap phones have potential basic operational issues. That is all. And if the basics don't work, its already a dead fish in the water.

Ordered. Really wanted a bigger screen but nothing comes close for the price, everything 6 inch was over £100 and had poorer reviews.

Nobody ever mentions if it runs clash of clans.

Simples ? Technology is simple if you work in IT, though finding EXACTLY why a none working instance happens takes investigation.

On a developers forum the only negative thing reported on the BL7000 is mixed results with the camera app. That might need alternative apk installing. Reviews seem positive.
