When are these budget phones going to include NFC? I take Android Pay for granted now.

Actually really decent for the price. Doogee may only be in the Championship when it comes to budget phones but I'd expect this to have good performance, an average screen, reasonable battery life and a pretty mediocre camera if past experience is anything to go by.

Would seriously consider this if it wasn't for the fixed battery.

Doubt android pay will work on this phone even if it had Nfc. I had android pay on my G4 and did not like it. Fumbling around banging phone on terminal, it's a accident waiting to happen. I really wanted this phone but could not find any reviews in English at the time. Redmi note 3 was what I ended up with. Heat

Decent specs but plastic frame ewwww.

This looks like a better buy for £70:

This is much worse specced phone and it costs much less. No surprise there. Due to different size and price range I wouldn't consider it to be an alternative to F7.

Surely the only thing that has going for it when compare to the Xiaomi Note 3/4's is the fact that it's sold by Amazon?

Cheers op. Ordered and heat added

Why not? The thing I like about Android Pay is that it uses a virtual card number rather than the real debit/credit card that you are actually paying with.

So it's safer than regular contactless and much safer than swiping/ATM use.

it may come complete with spyware too

I bought this yesterday and returned this morning. let me be super clear. the phone is fantastic, looks, build quality, performance.ance are all excellent. the let down is the camera which is absolutely DIRE.

If camera isn't important pull the trigger.

Does this have an SD card slot. Read various reports and still not sure. Some say basic versions do, but higher spec versions drop the SD card slot, which seems bizarre

Mrs sd card got corrupted while at a birthday party of all times. The 400+ photos are backed up in the cloud but all the nights photos are gone. I gave up on sd cards ages ago. 32gig of should be enough without adding a sd

Maybe because he doesn't want google to know the details of where, when, and what he purchases. Personally I would never give google a credit card number which provides a definite identity they can associate with all the other information I can't stop them collecting about me. Sadly there are more than enough sheeple around to let google carry on doing pretty much whatever they like.

how are they going to know *what* you purchase? If you're using an Android device than there are worse things to worry about when it comes to privacy than whether Google knows that you shop at Tesco on a Thursday. If you use Android then your lifestyle is basically being observed in the background anyway. Too late for me to worry about this though.

Depends how much storage you need. 32gb is nowhere near enough for me so need an SD card. Never really had any problems with SD cards in my phone.

Had one of their phones and I'd say they're Sunday League. Not Championship by a country mile. I wouldn't buy one of their phones again if you paid me. Seriously, the one I bought was complete junk.

Hey ho, bought one after all for the Mrs. She dropped her Moto G (3rd gen), this looked like a cheap upgrade. Oh well....

I bought this Doge a month ago from Aliexpress (105£). I am more than happy with my purchase so far. Everything works just fine. The ROM is pretty much stock with a few manufacturer apps that can be uninstalled. Helio X20 is pretty powerful achieving 80k on Antutu, screen is good and colors are balanced, though I would like more saturation. Wifi, 4G, Bluetooth everything rock solid. Volume and power buttons could be firmer. Touch screen supports up to five fingers and registers everything fine (I was afraid about the touch function because some b-grade chinese companies use crap h/w, but this isn't the case). Photo quality is OK if you have good lighting.
Battery wise, I can't tell for sure if it's a 3400mah (probably it's less, something like 3000... Doge tends to lie about battery capacity) but it seems to make it through the day. This is not the case if you launch any game. I have noticed that games deplete the battery really fast.... I mean really fast... unusually fast. I do play games on my S7 also, but the battery doesn't take such a great hit.
GPS speaking, it surprised me in a positive way. Locks fast, tracks a lot of satelites. Navigates just fine around the city.

Fingerprint sensor on the back, works really really fast (compared to the slow Galaxy S7) BUT, it can be used only for unlocking the phone and only by very specific built in apps. This means that you can't use the sensor to unlock lets say the dropbox app or a banking app, or any other third party app supporting fingerprint unlock.

Generally speaking the quality is OK. It's fully plastic, but it looks sturdy enough. The front glass is not a gorilla glass, but it has a factory installed screen protector (and a spare protector also in the box).

If you want a cheap phone, with good specs, powerful processor and LTE B20 band (800MHz), this is the way to go.

Feel free to ask me anything about it...

brilliant phone got mine for £50 on an ebay shop, had Samsung galaxy s4 before this one decent camera, great battery life, best phone I've ever bought, sim only deals and this phone is the way to go saved me hundreds of pounds compared to contract phones

Received mine today. It's all setup and works brilliantly so far. I used the kindle fire quick charger as the one supplied took too long. It comes with a case and a screen protector as well. The rom is very close to stock android. I installed all the google apps that normally come preinstalled. This is a bonus as I can choose what I want. Make sure that you update Google Play Services first. I ran a couple of malware and spyware apps and nothing was detected.

Yes.
Bad enough when you are exchanging something with your pals & they pull out an Apple or Samsung phone whereas your holding a Chinese brand of phone.

When they ask you try to explain its a cheapo Chinese phone that looks & rhymes with "dodgy" or "doggy". Is it not better to get a Xiaomi or similar that way you can say its the top manufacturer of phones after Samsung.
