I really want to see this but I’ve always ended up disappointed with Chinese brand phones - it’s always something really niggly and annoying, like weaker than normal WiFi, poor camera performance, not holding signal well, etc. Just stuff that would really annoy you if it were your primary phone

I mean proper, long-term reviews from people who actually use it. All Chinese phones look good on paper but the quality control is inconsistent, at least that’s my experience of them
720p screen, really?! Cold IMHO on that alone as all the other specs seem ok

All Chinese?
Did you tried OnePlus? It Will beat Samsung and Apple!
And what did you mean Chinese:
made in Chinese underground or Chinese brand?

Got one wouldn't recommend it. Decent screen and excellent build quality good battery life, but the weak WiFi stuttering performance and the worse cameras I've ever used. Couldn't use it long term pick up the Huawei p8 lite 2017 great phone no issues.

Chinese sub-tier brands - so excluding OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, Huawei I meant brands like Doogee, Elephone, Cubot, etc. They are ‘ok’ and quite well known but always seem to have some minor niggles that let them down.

This.

They make a great phone well-built and then mess it up with weak WiFi (such a stupid thing to fall down on, making a good WiFi antenna is not that complex this day and age) and poor cameras (kind of acceptable as companies spend millions on photo R&D and obviously Doogee don’t - still annoying). Like I said, minor niggles that stop it being a great purchase
Got this phone..... And typing on this now.
Got to say, after the initial wow, the software want great and started to wind me up.
But there have been a couple of updates, which have stabilised the system, the camera has massively improved and I would recommend this phone to anyone interested.
Forgot to say, I have the 6 GB model
According to Kimovil you can get the 6GB/128GB version of this phone from Banggood for £131 (ish) with the code BGMIX925.

does anyone even get close to using 6gb ram on a mobile? i need 8gb in my desktop pc as i constantly use 6+ due to multitasking and photo and video editing etc, but on my mobile i rarely get above 1.5gb as only use 1 app at a time?

just curious..
All I know is that the phone hasn't ever lagged or got stuck like previous phones.

Probably not. My two year old Smart Ultra 6, with it's 2GB of RAM, is now getting to be 'full'. I'll probably go for 3/4GB for my next phone because 2GB isn't enough now. However 6GB of RAM, I'd consider unnecessary. However I do know that a lot of people put tonnes of music and movies on their phones. On this occasion, it might be that for an extra tenner, it's advantageous to go for the 128GB version, with the extra 2GB of RAM coming as a freebie.

That's not 6/128GB, it's 6/64GB. The 6/128GB was either never released or had a limited release which is no longer available.
I was so close to buying this on launch but the real life photos of it looked terrible to the press release. That bezeless design is no where near as good as the photos on the website and the hands on I saw seemed to have a scratch in that lovely blue finish

Apologies! Have read so many phone specs recently, I'm getting confused.
It you're after a similar but cheaper, bezel-less phone and don't mind a slower CPU, then the Leagoo KiiCaa Mix 3GB/32GB is currently on offer at Gearbest for £81.58...

OOoooh. I am more tempted by this than the original deal. Just gonna watch the video, Thanks for your contribution and that of the OP. abdi12346 Find me a phone! (please)
I believe the second camera has been shown to be not only fake ,but nonexistent- just a piece of glass . And the cpu might actually be p20 , not p25 gizbeat.com/119…7t/ .They are now advertising the Mix 2 , which in the promos looks really nice , seriously , but it's whether they can be trusted

As well you can try Blackview s8 or p6 - both phones well packed at great price.

If you're still agonising over the Leagoo KiiCaa Mix, if you use the discount code 11NOV142 you might be able to drop the price from £81 to £73.
That code doesn't work. Where do you get these codes from?
