Similar (but better specc'd) to the HomTom HT20 I posted yesterday, this is a rugged IP certified smartphone, but with the USP of having user-swappable 'built in' protective cases, one in a leather-ish 'business' style, and one in a rubberised 'sporty' style

Specs aren't too shabby, obvious highlight will be battery life. You'll be able to get better spec for the money but the reassurance of the IP certification obviously adds £££

Cheers for posting these deals on rugged type certified phones. In the market for one due to working long hours outside in all weathers.

Thanks for sharing
Outdated hardware with very ordinary 2016 specifications , very disappointing not full HD display with positive 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage. They tried to invent something by adding water and dust resistance but for price it's not recommended.

Yep can't dispute your summary. I presume only 720 resolution to aid in battery life if out in the open / camping etc. Or that's a convenient excuse. Agreed expensive, there is a lite version 2/16 gb or the HomTom HT20 if too expensive but I guess the risk you run is whether something like this is as reliably rugged as something like a Galaxy Active...

It's good for the marketing seek to have many options, but this should reflect on the prices . also I don't believe that such device will be perfect for capturing photos underwater

Nope absolutely agree I'd be wary of putting this anywhere near water on purpose. But I had Xperia Z1 & Z3 Compact and never wanted to test the waterproofness either.
Reason for posting these deals is that I think the Chinese manufacturers are actually starting to 'take risks' and produce devices that are slightly more different than you'd get from mainstream 'contract phones' in the UK where the choice is almost boiling down to Samsung vs iphone...
