I think the poster has said that the screen is rubbish - I managed to glean that from his post - if you want, I'll get my crayons out to explain it to you

I've had a couple of Doogee phones in the past and have found them very good - so okay from a manufacturers point of view
5.5 Sharp HD screen shouldn't be too bad at all tbh
it think it's 16GB ROM rather than 64GB.

    The black edition is 4GB/64GB.

    Tempting.....
If you read where it says highlights in the link it says 2GB Ram and 16 GB Rom ?
the piano black edition is defo 4GB Ram and 64GB ROM. I was tempted with this, only reviews I've found have been positive barring the battery life, how slippery the handset is and the killer for me was the GPS not keeping a signal (seems to be common with this processor). The mediatek CPU isn't the highest powered either so not a 'gaming' phone,, but will play most things OK.
Got this. The screen is fine - had an LG G3 before and you have to look hard to see the difference imo. I'd only pay the £300+ between this and a high end phone if I watched lots of movies and wanted top quality photos or played games. Great to have lots of memory, load on loads of apps without 'memory full' messages from a 16gb phone. Otherwise works well and looks great. Can't get fingerprint scanner to work though! I think well worth this money for the performance overall.

    what's the camera like?
I have Doogee y-pro something or other for about 1.5 years. The three problems I have are sound quality (really poor), pictures are just okay and it is all plastic body which has all corners broken.

So, what is the sound like (e.g. when receiving a call), camera and the body/screen of it?
    Thanks.

Usually absolutely rubbish on Doogee phones, very poor lenses coupled with terrible firmware.

Battery life been very good so far. Get a full day easily out of quite heavy use. At least as good, probably better than my old LG G3.

gps fix being rubbish has been a problem on previous doogees and elephones for me too.
