Came across this when searching backward compatible games on Microsoft store. Most games are between £7 and £20 for classics so thought this was a good price. Doom 2 is also available at £3.99 and Doom 3 at £7.99.

This is the original version, not the new re-released version.

DOOM (1993)
Celebrate DOOM’s 25th anniversary with the re-release of the original DOOM (1993). First released in 1993, DOOM introduced millions of gamers to the fast-paced, white-knuckle, demon-slaying action the franchise is known for.

DOOM (1993) includes the expansion, Episode IV: Thy Flesh Consumed and allows players to either duke it out in local 4-player deathmatch or take on the demon hordes with friends in local 4-player co-op.

The audio and lighting is broken but no log in needed!
This is the usual price.

It's been much cheaper in the past and frequently around a quid.

I'm glad someone else has said this, my Xbox One version of Doom had atrocious music.

When I played it on 360 it was fine.

I remember searching the internet forums a couple of years ago to see if anyone else's had this issue, no-one said theirs was faulty, I thought it was just mine! Even deleted and redownloaded, to no avail.

My Xbox One version definitely sounded distorted and off, compared to the 360 which sounded normal (maybe not perfect to purists though haha).

I'll have to try and do a video of it...
