Bit less if you subscribe and save... Although might be sold out by the time they come to shopping it out?
£4 for 4 in ASDA, plus I get 10% off. 😁
Looks to be the same price as the supermarkets.

Great beer? I guess that depends on your tastes and expectations. Personally, I only drink this in the pub if there's no other bitter on tap. Better than nothing.

Surprised that subscribe and save discount is only 5% on this with already 6 items in my subscribe and save order. New development at Amazon?

I noticed that too. They do seem to have slight variations in the S&S discounts these days. I noticed the other day that the discount was 10% for fewer than 5 items in the basket but the usual 15% for 5 or more items on an Amazon own brand item. Think it was some of their solimo coffee beans.

I've been drinking Doom Bar for (too many) years. It's great because it travels well, but it's popular due to that and is sadly no longer a special treat when someone gets a barrel shipped but ubiquitous, default ale. I still like it and will sometimes still choose it from a range on tap.

Interesting article on its success: boakandbailey.com/201…ss/

The cans/bottles are brewed at Burton and I'd probably choose something else... hot though!

Nice ale from the cask but their bottles/cans are nothing special. The St. Austell brewery ales are my favourite ales from the SW, and Bays and Dartmoor brewery ales are nice too if you’re lucky enough to find them
You can get 8 cans for £9 at tescos, and they have the 10p off a litre petrol voucher which makes it slightly better...

Good for you, I still think it's bland.
Used to be great. Now tastes of soap
