Decent preorder price, heat from me. Thought it had been this much at cdkeys for a while now though?

It has. I keep being tempted to bite on the Deluxe Edition, despite the fact that in six months it'll be half the price or less..
bethesda game so will be half price in 2 weeks
Steam key please
Any deals on Steam? I can't face having yet another launcher installed! Plus I have all other Doom games on Steam so I don't think my OCD could cope without Doom Eternal joining them...

£49.99, its the going rate for our loyal subjects (Steam) . Steam are takers, they'll give you nothing. Out of the bag, nearly every new game is £49.99.

This has only been the case for games that haven't sold well at launch and only Fallout 76 really got such dramatic cuts so quickly.

And £30 isn't far off half-price already given the £50 full pricetag.

It's a really good deal for what's probably gonna be one of the best games of the year.

Not wanting to sound like a die hard but which store isnt a taker? The only good deals are 3rd party sites. Unless it's an epic exclusive then it's overpriced and available nowhere but epic. Games released exclusively on steam DRM are the best value for consumers.
I recently gave in to Origin for Jedi Fallen Order... Really would prefer this on steam so I'll wait...

'Steam DRM', it might as well be on GOG .If i buy a game, i want'' DRM/Anti-Tamper/Always Online'', why in gods name would i buy it from steam?.

Steam is more likely to still be here is a few years unlike gog leaving your DRM free games useless and unpatchable. DRM free is a myth when it's not direct from developers.
Reminder to y'all that there's every chance you'll still have to run the Bethesda launcher even if you buy on Steam. It says an account is required on the Steam page, just like it does for eg Far Cry 5 which launches the Uplay client when you start it up.

So.. If you're going to buy it, you might as well shop around for a cheaper price as buying in Steam locks you in to their prices, including for DLC in the future, as Steam keys won't be available anywhere else.

I don't like it any more than anyone else.. But I'm facing facts :-/

gog is updating and patching game from developers that are long time gone, what is your point here?
Be a tenner by Christmas if you can wait

If gog isn't here like my comment suggests then I doubt they will be patching

fallout 76? wolfenstein young blood? the only thing they deserve is to not to pre-order and wait for the reviews

I can obviously find it cheaper, but god forbid people actually support great developers by paying normal price for their games, right?

Learn the difference between developer and publisher.

MachineGames were one of my favourite devs, but youngblood was clearly ruined by meddling from publishers forcing them to make a single player series fit in with their "games as a service" constant revenue stream plans. As much as I trust id, I don't trust Bethesda to keep their beaks out of this one.

ID didn’t develop fallout or wolfenstein
I wanted this on steam but cave in to get it via CDKeys. On the steam page it says it has to link through Bethesda.net anyway.
