Great price but another bloody launcher
Cold for Bethesda pulling all their games from geforce now. Was probably going to buy it, but shall not now. I don't get why all the games publishers are removing thier titles.

I know was looking forward to this on geforce ,was replaying earlier games until they removed!
I don't think it will get much better than this!

Really looking forward to this game but suspect it will be rapidly discounted post-launch, Bethesda keys are particularly undesirable.

Agreed, but I want to play it on launch with my bros so I'll grab a day one. I'll probably rebuy it on Steam for £5-8 in a year or two!

Suspect I'll end up buying a Bethesda key (£15 would convince me) then purchase it again on Steam at a later date. Perhaps Bethesda will see the error of their ways and convert those users to Steam, their launcher really serves little purpose

The launcher launches a game, what's else does it need to do?. Who needs Steam when you have EPIC. Bethesda's fine.

I'm fairly accepting of UPlay / Origin / Epic / Oculus and don't believe Steam/Valve should hold all the cards - despite being my platform of preference due to their longstanding presence and support of PC gaming. Bethesda though is a stretch too far, it provides nothing of benefit to the customer or other publishers. I've a similar attitude towards BattleNet and that's surely a symptom of the way those companies operate.

I think y'all are conflating things here. It's not about 'Bethesda keys'. Games that dont sell that well like Prey or Rage 2 or Evil Within 2 might get quickly discounted prices, but I wouldn't expect there to be any rush to lower the price for this one.

There's no benefit for UPlay or Origin or anything, either. The point is entirely that these publishers dont want to have to give Valve 30% of every sale on their game if they dont have to.
Shame they took out the death match pvp

I have no brand loyalty to any publisher, they'll all try it on, one way or another. When the games released, i'll show some interest, day 1 content is what counts. if its worth it, i'll buy it, if it has no DRM on PC, i won't touch it. My opinion of game publishers couldn't get any lower, even CDPR. I'm in it for me 100%. As it should be.

steam centralises friends list and game stats over the years is a tried and tested model. more launchers just divides your community of friends a bit more than before. its terrible

Why would anyone adapt to anything that isn't beneficial?

I assume you understand what adapting means?

They're still selling it on Steam anyway...
