Steam and I might have gone for it, heat added regardless.
I need this game, think I'll wait a while though
D2016 was a fun game, and this looks better, can't wait. Games not out for another 5 months or more, Pre-order, really?.
I have a bad feeling about this. I hope it won't be anything like the last Wolfenstein

Everybody that's played it say its amazing and better than even the last doom which was already excellent
For some reason we stopped playing the last Doom so never completed it

Not a huge gamer, but really liked the 2016 Doom.
Bethesda''s launcher - no thanks. Just look at the way they have treated the Fallout 76 customers.

Played it for 20 mins at Egx last year and it was pretty PENGERS
For those wanting it on Steam instead of Bethesda's launcher, I hear you - but if it's anything like Ubisoft games:

1: you'll be unable to buy it anywhere except Steam itself, and that includes the DLC if you want to buy that further down the line, so you'll be tied to Steam's prices, and

2: from the Steam store page..39663358-OgjWm.jpg
..so you'll likely have to use Bethesda's launcher anyway ie Steam will just boot up their launcher to run the game.

I’m pretty sure Bethesda are just publishing this one and Id are still at the helm.

But Bethesda will be in control of account and customer services (like refunds, dealing with account problems). They have a reputation of being over zealous with the ban hammer that has caught people that have not cheated due to their poor anti-cheat detection. These are the people that tried to force a '500 word essay' to unlock your account:

I have no doubt ID will produce a decent game (assuming the publisher Bethesda does not force a microtransaction nightmare). If I'm stuck with the Bethesda login, I'll wait until its a tenner or less and this will also give time to fix any problems in the game / account log in.

There is quite a funny video that jokes about all the Fallout 76 problems:

I’ve had no issues with my Bethesda account for Fallout 76 on PC or PS4 (same with ESO on PC and PS4 or Quake Champions on PC). Probably jinxed it now though saying that!

I’d still prefer to have the game on Steam (my ESO & QC are on Steam) to keep (most of) my games in one place. Bethesda being publisher does not put me off at all, if they were devs I’d probably wait for the inevitable quick price drop like Doom 2016.
Do you pay now or pay when it's released?
Bit the bullet and bought this in steam directly. There's just so many reason for me personally to do it.
I wonder if you can buy it on Bethesda Russian servers cheaper like you can with COD: Modern Warfare?
