have you got proof of purchase and receipt

NO. I TOOK IT FOR FREE !!!

Of course i have receipt.
... and meanwhile, back on topic ....

Outstanding price. Shame it's wired otherwise I would have been in for a few of these.

Thanks OP.
Yeah actually scarface 's original question was a fair one. Loads of these tesco deals turn out to be limited to one or two stores or the op is posting a fake deal. Therefore IMO, showman is possibly the "idiot ".
WWonder if it could be used as an ip camera

I know what your point was - mine was that the OP was kind enough to post … I know what your point was - mine was that the OP was kind enough to post a good deal yet we have an idiot wanting him to post a receipt and proof of purchase - he doesn't have to you either believe him or you don't.

For once, a fairly valid point too. MY point, on the other hand, is that you're one of those goons who like to criticise the content of people's posts, yet you're happy to post like a berk yourself. What's the word I'm trying to think of now? Hippopotamus? Hypotenuse? Oh its something like that.
@ annewman I am pretty sure it is basically just a wired IP camera, the bonus is it comes with an app for your smartphone.

Yes. This one.

It is funny , but when i called Tesco CS they told me that in 1 store is showing 8 in stock (but they had only 1) and just to double check i have visited another store (CS said they don't have any) and i've bought another one

In old deal (9 months old) there was some information about stores that had some stock :

But it was long time ago.

so what you're saying is that I should just turn up even though they have said none are in stock?

I don't know. I have never tried to do this

About your previous Q : I just had luck. Try to call to few stores in your area - who knows ...
i bought two of these from kingston park tesco in newcastle. deal is very very hot considering how well made these things are.
Very hot deal- got tons in tesco Maryhill - at least 12 on shelf . Thanks op.
Before implying that somebody might be posting a fake deal it's a good idea just to click on their name to see what they've contributed to the site in the past. In this case - quite a lot.
Useful for halloween, so I can see the sinking faces of disappointment on the children as I chuckle in the dark, ignoring their plea for treats..

Were there a lot left at the store in Kingston Park? That's my nearest store.
Is this the one

Use an IP camera as an IP camera?
Why didn't I think of that!

Going to try Silverburn

Let me know if they have stock
Picked this up for £25 when on offer last time. VERY difficult to get even at that price, i tried about 7 large extra stores in stevenage, dunstable, milton keynes, a few in london and only managed to pick up 1. Nobody will find it for £8.50, the shop staff would of nabbed them all at that price like they did when it was at £25.

Yes they do, all the stores i went in you could tell some of them were covering it up that the fact they were cheap so they took them home.

The store i actually find 1 in they wasnt on the shelf, i went to the tv department and asked the guy there. I said 'do you have those app cameras in stock at £25' He said 'i think i saw 1 in the back room let me grab it for you'. As he come out i said to him they should be £25. He then said 'no way are they £25 i know that for sure'. He scanned it, and it came up at £25. He thought the till was broke so he went to another till and again it scanned at £25. He was stunned and then said 'If i knew it was £25 i would of kept that one'.

Proof right there that the staff do keep em for there self. I would, i dont blame them.

Also i would advise, those who got one for £8.50 should vote this hot. Those who didnt get one dont vote hot. Because next time its on offer for £20 or £25 its going to be voted cold because of this price. I guarantee nobody will find one for £8.50. Op was lucky.

Let me know if he got one in Maryhill - they're right up the back at the tablets and laptops- right on the end of the aisle- at the bottom shelf .

They just don't.
Some managers do, but the shop floor/till staff don't, it's written in their contract that they can't do any shopping during their shift.
You sound paranoid, lay off the drugs.
Where there any in Oldham
Its a good price - BUT keep in mind that this camera's software is rather poor, and it's not supported by the big CCTV systems (and for me, especially annoying that it's not supported by Synology )

I bought one and returned it because of that - but I wanted to keep it - gives a good picture and has decent features..and wired for extra benefit (wireless cams are a nightmare). Metal contraction seemed nice and solid, I would have been happy at £44 if it had been supported by my NAS
