Cold...it doesn't cost £1,000 and isn't Apple/Samsung

Sorry, I had to
How do you buy it, do have to have a account with them
Ordered for my mother-in-law, she has always got on with Doros

Hot, Easy to unlock?
Terrible battery life from all accounts...but for £5 can't go wrong I guess
Completely lost. You only pay for the phone and the bundle is free? Do you pay that top up fee whenever you get low or every month? Help!
Heat added
OK if you don`t mind a refurb.
Great little phone for the older generation, got my 70 year old mother one and she works it fine
How do we unlock it if we want to use it in another country please?
Thanks, I was going to buy this before (as I need a spare phone on a different network from my main one) but it was out of stock by the time I went back
Cheapest unlock I've found is £4.99 from here:

ukunlocks.com/uk/…o2/

Please don't take that as an endorsement of their service though; I've never used them.

:edit:

FYI TCB do cashback on O2 phone purchases (2%), and TCB also have their £2.50 bonus on £5 spend promo ending today.
So after cashback you should end up paying only £2.40 for the phone!

Exclude vat though so would have to be £6 minimum you could buy the new dorro for £9 and get £2.5 plus 18p off making it £6.32 but the risk is you don't get your bonus

O2 cashback is reported on the full post-VAT amount. (Evidence: my many other like new purchases from O2 via TCB)

Interesting i thought as they charge vat then you would be stung. It was only vat less traders such as ebay that were exempt! I'll go for it and see if you're right
Seems to need connecting to a computer to be unlocked, its not your usual code to enter.

Just bought with the £2.50 bonus i'll let you know if it tracks. Give my mum a choice and see what one she likes. This or the Alcatel 2038x. The dr-uk might know how to unlock this one too i'm not sure. Let you know how it goes. Anyone bought this
The buttons are far too small for the majority of elderly eyesight users
My mum (77) will struggle not only to see them - but to push the right one
anyone unlocked this yet?

Phone is at home. Not too woried about unlocking. But if can then all good. The phone tracked plus the £2.50 bonus from TCB making it £2.40 in total so a very good price
Only need cheap unlocking now...
cheapest ive found to unlock this phone is £3.99. bought the code on friday and received it today. unlock code worked fine.

thanks for posting, seems to be out of stock on the Like New, but only 9 pounds new, plus 4 for the unlock, its still going for about 40-50 on other sites

My mum loves it. It's like the Nokia's of old better than the alcatel 2038x as thats more fiddly than this one. You can even put weather on the home screen. The nearly new looked brand new to me. Its basically a 14 day return so it is new and not an original box. Buy £9 is well worth it. It's £40 on the dorro website

I managed to get one. I had to ring customer services up as the online form was not accepting my email. They let me have a new on for £5 as there was a technical issue when I was trying to order online yippee.
You dont have to top up
It's a nice phone and locked to O2
Wish there was a simple phone like this which can accept WhatsApp calls

odd criteria you use to rate hot or cold...
Nice find OP thank you i already have one but for that price i just ordered another one will be here sometime Monday.

People asking about getting it unlocked if you know someone on a O2 contract you can get it unlocked for nothing my son did it for me it only took a day Other then that you will have to go though eBay or a market seller.
