What they wont, however, appreciate is this :-

Another thing users won't appreciate is that the Gemstone series does not run on anything other than Vista. The question is will Acer be as arrogant as they are now (no support for XP or Linux) when Windows 7 comes on the market?. Very badly supported product which I would never buy. However if you are happy with Vista and Acer bloatware (which needs to run or the notebook overheats) than it's not a bad price.

I agree, the Acer software is annoying, but where did you get the overheating issue from?
