I would only use a proper uk/eu certified dust mask, it is not worth risking your health.

I read an article where they tested respirators and dust masks bought on Ebay, none of them performed adequately, or met their claimed ratings.

Also bare in mind that this mask may be sized for Asian faces so may not seal properly on europeans.

If you buy this, at least throw away the filters and buy replacements from a reputable uk supplier.

?
I’m tempted for this price to use it as a dust mask. The issue I have is the reviews as to whether the goods will turn up. They have a good Trust Pilot rating but there are quite a few negative, one star reviews. When you look closely at the positive reviews they are mainly 1 review only entries and some of them in very poor English?

from my experience, some items can take a bit of time to arrive. Never had any item lost (touch wood!) , the worst it can happen is you getting your money back after a few weeks if you don't receive the item.

Better than nothing. Probably fine for cutting the odd bit of MDF but not for taking down an asbestos garage roof......

It's the finest dust that does the most harm, and that's what non-compliant and counterfeit filters let through! Which is why I only buy masks and filters from reputable sellers.

I'd also be slightly concerned about what fibres are used in the filter material especially with counterfeits, hopefully it is not a problem with Chinese masks, but Asbestos was used in many WW2 gas mask filters (it has been used in Chinese cigarette filters).

This mask is US N95 - is a government efficiency rating that means the mask blocks about 95 percent of particles that are 0.3 microns in size or larger.

It says it's N95, but it's being sold by Banggood. It's up to you, but I don't think I would trust it.
I bought the 3M version of this, about 2 years ago, from banggood. Cost about £13. Shame they don't have it listed anymore.
This looks identical, and going by the pictures looks like you can fit 3M filters.
