Great experience and worth £45 if you live close to one of the tracks.

Not so good if you have to travel a distance to get to one of the tracks as you only get 4 laps (6 miles). I have done the 5 car experience and did enjoy it so heat given.......
hmmmmm..
"Please note at the Surrey location you must pay a £20 upgrade to use your voucher on a weekday and £40 to upgrade to a weekend date"
Mixed reviews - is this with 6th Gear?
Did one at North Yorkshire (North) - Elvington a while ago, total waste of time hanging around for ages then instructor constantly saying slow down all the time, track was boring a few cones stuck out and lasted no time at all.

Mine was with Everyman Racing not sure who runs this one though...

As a bit of a petrol head who's had one of these type of gifts purchased for him in the past, without raining on the parade I would advise to carefully consider who you are buying the gift for.

I own a fairly decent car, I do track days in it and spend weekends when the weather is right exploring country lanes round the country. A girlfriend thought this kind of gift was going to be the perfect Christmas present for me and why shouldn't she?

My experience from the day though was while it wasn't poor, they place such restrictions on you that if you've done proper track events and maybe have your own performance car that you don't take away much from the experience.

Again this was my own experience, not every event will restrict you as severely and obviously some people just get off on the experience of sitting in a sports car. But I personally would rather have a petrol voucher to go and spend the day finding some empty country roads than the 5/10ths driving I got to do at the event I was on.

That being said, considering the expenses involved in organising events like this it's a good price, they obviously hope to catch you on the extras.

That's a shame, I used Everyman Racing and went to the Dunsfold track..... They instructor for the R8 was amazing, kept telling me to speed up, managed to hit 95mph which I thought was ok for the track.
it is £60 now!
60 shame I missed it
