No fiddling with knobs in bed please

Don't get it. Why not just use a hot water bottle. If you can't maintain body temp undr the covers, just get a higher Tog value duvet.

The single is £12.74 using the code.......152cm x 72cm.

tbh this is better than a hot water bottle the inconvenience of heating up the water, handling etc. this is ideal for pre-heating.

Seems pretty small for a double at 122cm x 107cm

"A standard double bed is 4 feet 6 inches wide and 6 feet 3 inches long (137 x 190 cm). This is the most common and widely available size for all bed types in the UK."

It's a bit cheeky to claim "extra foot warmth" when it won't even reach your feet

It does not need to keep your head and neck warm so it fits lower down the bed.

This one is 120cm x 135cm and doesn't claim to have "extra foot warmth" I have one and it does go under the pillow (which is great coz you can flip it over) and all the way down to your feet. And it's only £3 more

11.1% TCB as well

Don't bother buying this. Mine just turned up and I'll be sending it back. The listed dimensions (122 x 107) are actually the length x width, so it's a full 30cm narrower than a standard double bed. That means someone gets to sleep on the cable for the control. Stupid size for a double.
