You must have something wrong with your PS4 Pro then.

I’ll back you up on this. Played the entire game including all dlc without any issues.
As for load times, I guess when you were brought up on 30 minutes c64 load times you don’t mind waiting 27 seconds for something to load.

I have played it, yes. Performance is shocking.

It really isn't. Also where did you get a free PS Plus membership?[Video]

Well, we will have to disagree. I would have had PS Plus anyway, so yeah it was cheaper than paying for it on top! Have you actually played it or are you just going by a YouTube video? It also states that there is a definite improvement when boost is enabled.

Was free to PSN plus members. Still hot but i prefer physical when I get old titles.
Already posted in the big Sale post.
For what it's worth, I'd missed this in the big sale post, so thanks!
You'd be better off paying a couple of quid more for the whole bundle, the mech suit alone is worth it.

I wish I'd seen this before I bought the normal version... 😞
Was free for ps+ a few months ago. Decent game tho, worth a fiver if you missed the freebie

Poor loading times, really spoilt it for me. If you have the choice, get the PC version as I suspect loading won't be as bad.
Performance is dire, avoid.

I couldn't get into this. Loved the second game but this felt very weird.

Its fine on the PS4 Pro in boost mode, have spent endless hours blowing stuff up! And I got it for free which is always a bonus!

Not as bad as GTA 5 in my opinion.

No, performance is the same for all devices. You simply have a higher tolerance for poor performance.

Excellent game was playing it again yesterday on original PS4, never noticed any issues loading or otherwise.

Yawn. We didn’t have frame rate tests back in the Master System days, I tell you.

I remember those days when we had the cassette game systems (mine was an Atari keyboard computer) and there were times it was a lottery just waiting minutes for the darn game to load up only for it to mess up somewhere and you’d have to rewind the bloody tape and start the waiting game all over again.

And this current generation of gamers is complaining about a 20 second or so wait compared to the MINUTES we had to wait back in the 80s

Just remembered it was the Atari 65XE.

youtu.be/t_V…CpY

over SIX bloody minutes for the game to load! I could cook some bacon and eggs in that time and still be waiting. This generation takes things for granted when a less than half a minute loading time is too much.
I really enjoyed this game, and it's one that I dip in and out of every now and again. Other than a bit of slow down when the action cranks up to 11 it runs fine.

Is boost mode in the consoles settings?
I remember when this was free. It got boring really fast tbh.
but this was free on plus? also it's already been posted in the summer sale?

Vashetti its console gaming in general. It winds me up sometimes with people on the internet these days, "Framerate dropped to 28fps! Literally unplayable"

When a game is good you ignore the loads times/graphics etc Because thats not what makes the game good.

Ironic you don't here PC gamers moan about anything the console fanboys bang on about most of the time ( Yes there is the odd pc port which does get knocked down)
Great fun. Just blow stuff up, I loved it and all the initial performance issues it had on release seemed resolved when I played it.

Sorry for not replying earlier, yes it is the console settings on the Pro.
I heard performance fixed when u went offline. Any truth to this?
Yes, the performance is poor at times, but this is an wonderfully fun games and well worth a fiver
Great series. Can't wait for Just Cause 4 at the end of the year. I would highly recommend getting the XL edition.
Great game, got the DLC a while ago for £4 and just finishing that now.

Getting al the trophies is a bit of a ballache - especially the landlocked boat.

I couldn't get into this. Loved the second game but this felt very weird.

I second this the game is awful. No navigation as in where or what you need to do next. Graphics are the only good thing about it and remind me of uncharted 2
I have stopped playing it due to performance but than I upgraded PC forgot about the game until yesterday
I got season pass for 4 pounds and decided to give it a shoot again. It runs around 100 fps now at 3440 x 1440 resolution and game supports Ultra Wide format too. Explosions and colour pallet is sublime IPS panel brings world around me to life. Yeah I will stick with it now. Game due to its arcade shooting and mindless fast paced action is ideal for quick gaminf sessions. Not sure how it runs on consoles but my guess would be that ps4 pro could handle it really well.

This game is brilliant, just completed it myself and waiting for a deal on the Air, Land & Sea pass because I refuse to pay the ridiculous £11.99 for it
I love this game, not had any frame rate issues and it’s great fun. I can understand people getting bored of it though, just like any game. It’s mostly blowing stuff up.

As for someone saying the game has no navigation, that’s incorrect. It has a map and the map has icons with main mission, side missions and challenges, and you can set one as your gps target.

N.B. I downloaded this with ps plus a few months ago which made buying it so much more difficult. The option to buy isn’t there so I had to contact Sony to remove it from my ps plus library so that I can buy it! Took a few days to sort!

Thanks for posting
Great game and there is a new one coming out in December - cant wait

I had a game on Atari called Ninja Commando that genuinely used to take 6 hours to load on the tape deck. The agony after going in after 4 hours only to see it had frozen was indescribable! I always base load times on this and funnily enough I’m never disappointed!
