Hubby says he just goes there for the odd screw but usually spends only a couple of quid. (Perhaps they feel sorry for him)
If you already have an account can you just login instead of registering a new account to get the offer?

... more than one thing at a time? Can't say I buy expensive items either and also look elsewhere more as they're not the bargain they used to be and yoyo the prices like crazy to trick you into believing sales, but three £10 items... easy to do.

The own-brand stuff (No Nonsense & Forge Steel) stuff is generally very good quality/price. Their reviews are pretty good indicators too.

Re-fitting all your bulbs to led? I’m thinking of doing that- this might just be the encouragement I’ve been waiting for

Takes about 24 hours to appear.
'May receive your £5 voucher'
I'd like it to be more certain than that

That's true. I personally get the Philips Hue Bulbs apart from one old light fixture in the kitchen that still takes those tubes.
I got a notification that I'd qualified for the £5 but it's not showing on the app.
They've only just put minimum spend on, it didn't say before.

Ha,read what you have written @joyf4536 had me laughing
Ordered a fan and got a call that it ll be available tomorrow not that same day. Then got another call telling me that no stocks are available. So I requested a refund to which the person asked me to come to the store with the payment card to get a refund. To my annoyance, he then changed his earlier stance and said come to the store to collect your item. A very rude guy.
But equally helpful when at another store when I went to collect an item. I was told that the item was booked to be collected at another nearby store but then the manager let me collect the item and said he ll sort it out with that store.
So it depends on the staff.

I'm only a diyer and made 95 purchases from Screwfix, but I've never had an instance where delivery has been delayed or sold to someone else. The new machine you just put your card in for click and collects is a welcome addition too, stops the long queues.

I do however agree with another comment that Toolstation are cheaper on some things. That's kind of life though, like saying Tesco is cheaper than Aldi on some things lol

Same for me - minimum spend not an issue as was planning to pick something up anyway but no sign in the app even though the notification came through
Has anyone actually received the voucher yet?
Ill be honest - this came up a few months back when the app was released, and it was the same T&C, download, register for you £5 voucher - Im still waiting for the voucher....
I've got the voucher. Took maybe 90 minutes.
Did mine when the app first came out and voucher never made an appearance!
Still no voucher how long do I have to wait ?
Got my voucher in about 1hr
Did it this morning, voucher came through about an hour ago.
Downloaded the app for first time last night and signed in using an existing account. The voucher has just come through.

Incidentally, if you can't think of anything yet, they often send vouchers like this if you're on their physical mailing list. I had one this month already, plain old-fashioned spend £30 get £5 just for existing.

Less incidentally, unless it's changed, they'll only give Paypal refunds as store credit, not cash refunds like any other payment method. So don't.
I've saved £25 by not downloading the app
Nothing to do with the deal I know but not a great app at all. Just redirects to the web in a restricted view. Shame on you screwfix. Great deal btw.
I downloaded the app Monday evening, got a notification about the voucher on Tuesday morning, but the app didn't show the voucher until the evening. I have used the voucher on an order I was making.
Thanks op - just used used for a fiver.

PayPal is refunded as normal, it just takes longer to be refunded as it has to be done via superbly long winded online forms now, but its still refunded within 3 days or so back to your account, most stores prefer customer credit as its a lot faster to process on the computer system and it means having customers have to wait less time.

If your store told you it can only be for customer credit that's as far as I know never been the case.
