Just been into local Asda, they certainly don't look like the picture! Maybe in a few days, but then it's too late, the Extra Special single rose at £1.50 was a nice large headed rose and a long stem. Choice of Red, Pink, White. This looks a lot more value if only 1 rose

Wait till sunday and youll get them for a quid lol

What a poor quality of life these roses must of had to be so cheap .... :whistling:

at that price i can afford to buy bunches for 'all' my wives & girlfriends - lmao

they just the same as the 5 pound bouquet but no white stuff with it thats all

"It's the thought that counts"...

...and she'd probably pummel you to death if she *thought* you spent £2 on them

These are so cheap because they are battery rose's, a bit like battery chicken's & have had a hard life. . . . :-D

It's the thought that counts. Asda (hull branch) will gift wrap any present you buy for your loved one instore free of charge.

Can't beat a Valentine Day pummelling.

Good deal for two pounds. Most ladies will get a nice meal and other "treats" so I don't suppose the cost will bother them if they found out.

lol just been to asda's and looked at these and thought they looked abit pityful...

But still ended up paying £25 for 2 bouquets as they looked alot better and £4 for a nice box of Thortons choclates...
and will be cooking a meal for her tomorrow also...

Still a good deal at £2 though as some of them were pretty decent and my asda's was rammed felt like a saturday afternoon....

will you marry me ? :-D

If you seen the £2 bunch you won`t even consider buying them,no matter how big a tight git you are
I went all in and bought the £18 bunch

I want to play snooker tonight and cards tomorrow night you see:)

Lol you supposed to ask every leap year but even then don't think strangers count

I'd normally pay £40-£50 from local florist but they shut down...
Shame these superstores forcing little business's to close

Just been and got some

But they're for the kids, always get them some flowers on valentines day,but not usually roses.

tbh the bunches I got looked ok, no damage to them but the guarantee is only till the 15th.

ideal for the young ones to give to each other,

oh, I did get the Mrs some roses, but not the £2 ones

sorry i fell for them but at least its better than just a tex what she got last year :whistling:

i heard these advitised on century fm radio and went straight to my local asda and there they were as soon as you walked in.i'll be amazed if they have any left by the morning spot on heat and rep left:thumbsup:

Saw these today, and like others have said they are awful......I wouldn't worry about stores running out of stock..........

Let's be honest while flowers may look nice for a while they are a waste of money. I have always told my bf not to buy me a big bouquet as I'd rather have the money!

We normally buy each other gifts instead but this year we didn't want or need anything so agreed not to but he actually bought me 12 red roses and thortones chocies (I was well impressed) but felt bad he only got a card. He got them from morrisons for £5 each, he's well chuffed with himself! The flowers look good as well, if they had been expensive he would have got a telling off!

If my bf bought me £2 roses I'd still appreciate it, I think it is the thought that counts! My dad hasn't bought my mum flowers in 26 years of marriage (poor mum she loves flowers as well).

saw these last night, they really were awful, tiny flowers and you couldn't give them to anyone you cared about. Had to spend £10 to get a decent bunch which is fine - the wife is worth every penny

i saw these in asda they looked awfull, tesco are doing nice bunches for £5 i think

bought some 4 myself they r lovely!
