Product Description

The most popular character from the No.1 BBC Science Fiction Show, Dr Who is here! The day of the Daleks has finally arrived with the first ever Ride-in Dalek toy for children. Using a unique inflatable body attached to a high density plastic base this is a safe, strong and exciting toy which meets all the new essential safety standards. The Dalek body is made from a mixture of ballistic nylon and laminated rubberised polyvinyl which is soft and tactile to the touch. This makes the Ride-in very durable, structurally safe, tear resistant and easy to inflate and assemble. The Dalek has a 6v battery powered motor which gives 360 degree steering and a maximum speed of 3km per hour. The battery is re-chargeable and comes complete with charger. The steering wheel has 10 authentic Dalek phrases that are button activated. The ride-in comes with flashing lights for an atmospheric glow, giving the child the maximum realistic feeling of being in the Dalek and moving around like a Dalek. The Ride-in is surrounded by a soft bumper to protect furniture and is suitable for both indoors and outdoors activity (providing there is a flat surface). Age ranges are 3 years to 6 years old, with a 30kgs maximum child weight. The Ride-in comes in 2 parts – a motorised base and inflatable body section.

Why we love the Ride-in Dalek 128cm tall inflatable Dalek ride-in toy 360 degree movement and 3kmh speed Ten different Dalek phrases and light effects Soft bumper to protect furniture 70 minutes play time per charge EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! Take control of the scariest aliens in the universe by piloting the Doctor Who Red Ride-in Dalek. Inflate the body to create a 128cm tall version of a fearsome red Dalek, and take command from the driving seat. You can turn the Dalek around 360 degrees, and drive forward at 3 kilometres per hour both indoors and outdoors. You won't be able to climb stairs though - after all it is a Dalek! There is a soft bumper around the bottom to protect furniture, which we're sure will make Mum and Dad feel better once they stop hiding behind the sofa. With the ten built-in Dalek phrases and light effects inside the seating area, we're sure you'll be scary enough to have the Doctor flying round in the Tardis. The Ride-in Dalek runs on a 6v rechargable battery, which needs eight hours charging with the included charger. Once fully charged, the Dalek can be run for 70 minutes. There's even a 24 hour UK service centre if you have problems. What does Doctor Who have with his pizza? Dalek bread.

Hot - because it's the best toy a kid could have

But it does annoy me every toy dalek - big and small - never has the same shape as the real thing; the tops are always too conical

And if anyone says "Cold cos it won't go upstairs", I'll exterminate them
