So this is a very early pre-order?

Take the money straight away?

Faff and more faff. Proxy activation? Nah, here's a revolutionary idea : wait a bit, buy from a UK/US site - it'll probably be even less considering even Game now sell the Dragon Age Ultimate edition (first one) for a fiver.

Dragon Age Origins is 5 years old. Not too sure I'd want to wait that long.

In agreement. Plus Dragon Age games are like Batman games - they will be bargain basement soon after release.

When logic escapes you, resort to telling them "hey no one asked you..." Superb.

Your comments didn't come off as logical, just rude and arrogant.

Of course it will be cheaper in a couple of years from now, it could even be cheaper by Christmas or alternatively it might not be. The point is that you don't know for sure and for someone who wants this on launch day, this is likely to be the cheapest price around.

If you can't find a better deal then you don't really have any right to rubbish this one.

Will this require Origin?

And when you come in here complaining about the faff, only to give an example of 3.5 year old release that's selling for £5 vs a release day price saving of ~£35 off Origins UK price?

Exactly what Spark said, no one asked you to be in here if it's too much of a faff and you've got no better alternative.

So why didn't he pipe that up to the others who agreed with my point....
Carry on digging because it's mildly amusing.

Yes you do. It does however make the game locked to your registered account.

Does the currency convert? Im at checkout and it still shows dollars.

I'm tempted by this but I'm thinking of waiting for the goty/ultimate edition, wonder if they're going the DA:O route or DA2 route in terms of dlcs.

For some of us a new Bioware game is the highlight of the year, and I'm one of those impatient people that can't wait till the price drops after Christmas. Ordered! Thanks OP.

Also, keep in mind that EA has stopped releasing its biggest titles on rival platforms, so it's likely that you won't see the deep discounts that Steam usually offers too early on.

No, but PayPal will convert it before taking it out of your bank.

It's very easy to do, with no faff. It's a simple case of having an add-on for Chrome (that you may already have, if you use it to watch US Netflix), and clicking the Mexican flag.

Oh. Is this a PayPal only deal... or can I use a card...? Sorry, I'm hopeless, and to top it all of this is like the first time I've used a deal from a foreign country so it just makes it all the more complicated for me to understand.

Also, do we know if this deal has an expiry date or is this regular price in Mexico?

Oooo, that sounds genius.

Care to drop a knowledge bomb?

I think this game looks epic - and I love the DA range.

c£25 for a deluxe download is brilliant.

It's in the OP

I know this is expired but the price is still the same. However when I go to the checkout (just before you go through Paypal) and turn off Hola it stays on the Mexican site. Is this what's supposed to happen?

anyone tried this recently?
I've just done it but it kept removing it from the basket when you turn off hola so had to go through till I got to paypal tho I turned it off before I entered the paypal password. its showing in my order history as processing, will they just cancel or is there a risk of them banning accounts who try now? I've been meaning to do it for the past few months but kept putting it off.

edit: just clicked the request refund option to see what it says but went to blank screen and that option is gone now but the preorder is still showing.
got the order confirmation email and its showing my games list on origin tho not able to download till 17th(preload).
