Looks great Think i may order this

Quidco is down to 6% again.

good deal although the gameplay deal maybe better value. I am not sure though as i dont know what the difference in content is between the collectors edition and this one shop.gameplay.co.uk/web…618

I have this for Chrimbo, so tempted to get this though and flog the standard edition does it come in a collectors tin ?

Great price! I managed to order this last night for £24.40 using a £2 off code (]http//ww…-20), and a few reward points I had knocking about. Now I just need to return the standard version back when it arrives from Gameplay.

**** missed the £2 off voucher I got forza limited edition as well yesterday. Never mind reordered Dragon age with the voucher £26.99, 74p of gammer points around £1.50 of quidco, £24.99 is a bargain for the limited version of this.

My copy of Dragon age is still sealed I got it cheap anyway will sell on ebay, with quidco and game points effectively getting the limited edition for the same price.

Does anyone know if this comes in a metal tin ?

EDIT : No metal tin or cloth map with the UK version which they get in the states Still you get the extra in game items armour that can be used in Mass Effect 2 plus the DVD. WOrth an extra couple of quid if that.

You can get the PC version of the Collectors Edition from GAME for £19.99

Great deal. This was £49.99 online and £44.99 instore just last week. I'm glad that I didn't buy then.
Heat and reputation.

I believe that it does with a cardboard sleeve over it.

i played oblivion for 400+ hours and loved it

how similar is this to oblivion

i had hoped fable 2 would be like oblivion but it was not, too linear

This is very similar type of game to oblivion, but from a third person view. In size this is probably bigger than Oblivion.

You might find it more detailed than oblivion with more RPG elements. On a scale of 1 - 10 hardcore RPG, Fable - 1 or 2, Oblvivion 5 - 6, Dragon Age 7 - 8 higher up scale obviously the more RPG elements.

Like Oblivion its very non linear nothing like Fable at all really. Bioware are the kings of RPG if you like Oblivion, Fallout, Mass Effect those sort of games this will be your bag.

Dragon Age isn't non-linear in the same sense that Oblivion is.

It's not an open world and although the game is very big as far as next titles go, it probably won't last you as long as Oblivion did (although DA's main story is longer, there are not as many side quests and they aren't as big)

cheers

ill buy it then

Its non-linear in the same sense that Oblivion is in that are numerous ways, paths to complete objectives, moral choices etc, play with diffferent characters etc. Side quests I cant really say as I have not played it yet. They can add a huge amount though.

It took me around 80 hours to complete fallout 3 first time around only doing a fraction of the side quests and none of the DLC. Second time playing it trying to do all the side quests and with DLC I am probably 120 hours in and only half way through I would say.

I have not played this yet really just a quick go at a mates its HUGE though and it is very non linear its nothing like Fable for example. Reading reviews they seem to be saying 80 - 100 hours for the basic game plus whateve DLC Bioware decide to release - and there will be a fair amount for sure.

I take on what you are saying about open world like Obvlion and Fallout, Fallouts world is only 80% of that of oblivion but its a much more enjoyable game. I actually found oblivion much too big and daunting even without the dlc I could see no end to it - really is that big. I played it for around 20 hours and then got rid unfortunately - I could see no end to it and it just put me off TBH.

I hope to play it properly again one day all the way through but the amount of time required is enourmous, so much stuff I want to play, at the moment I have Dragon Age, Forza 3, Left 4 Dead 2 and Batman Arkham all new sealed ready to be played plus Mass Effect 2, Bad Company 2, Halo Reach, Bioshock 2 to come next year and god knows what else. All AA titles I have to get sick of MW 2 before I can get to any of these games !

Almost forgot I am only about 60% through Borderlands as well another brilliant game. Not enough hours in the day....This is just on the 360 as well I have Uncharted 2 thats hardly been touched on the ps3 and still havent finished Killzone 2 or MGS 4 (amazing game that it is) Ps3 is just gathering dust really.

Damn. Out of stock now

I ordered this earlier today and am happy to get the Special Edition for the soundtrack. Most RPG-esque OSTs are worth listening to so the extra couple of pounds for this set is worthwhile.

I've also heard the UK version is inferior to the US one, not just because of the lack of bonus content but also, some of the in-game bonuses are not given for free but merely 'unlocked'. The special items still need to be purchased with your earnt credits.

No metal case or cloth map as with the us version either Still you get some extra stuff and its basically the same sort of price as the standard version with £2 off voucher, £1.50 for quidco and 78p game points.

alera, superb replies, thanks

ive done 80% of fallout 3 with all dlc & side missions and still oblivion is my fav as i get in it and its like virtual reality as i feel im in the game

but mass effect was utterly boring and more linear than fable 2
