Great buy for any Dragonball Z fans. Can be ordered from Amazon UK but will ship from Amazon US. Currently OOS but stock replenished often. This set is usually quite a bit more so worth ordering at this price before it goes back up. Price is final and is inclusive of shipping and import fees. These disks are multi regional and will play on UK Blu-ray players.

I was looking at this but after switching to Kai I dont think I can go back to the original, the remaster is incredibly smooth both in pacing and script. I used to think the Faulkner music made DBZ but I am in awe of what they did with Kai.

Yea I have all the Kai Blu Ray's also and I do. Like the quicker pace. They also did a great job with the music too. The Falconer score is good as it's what I grew up with but the score in kia is awesome. Although DBZ has tons of filler I think it's the 10 episodes of powering up that makes DBZ what it is. They both have their pros and cons but I must admit I find myself watching kai more just to get through it at a quicker pace.

I've only just found out about kai but like you grew up with the original. I'm really torn now whether or not to get this as I can totally get what you mean about going back for certain stuff, like goku learning to drive and the fight scenes seem much more intense and hyped than what I've seen in kai thus far.

The young gohan voice is terrible in kai though, thankfully I'm only just on season 5 so don't have to hear it but even goten sounds older than gohan when he fought cell.

How much is this usually, I'm really considering it now?

Edit: just checked camel and it says it should be £92??

Yea I couldn't live with kai as my only option I paid nearly £200 but it was a while ago. If you actually go on the Amazon.com website it says it is usually $175 but that's excluding shipping and import fees. At the moment it's $126 minus shipping and import fees. When I added it all to my basket you get the £117 including everything so a very good price also considering these can't be purchased anywhere else in the U.K

Riiiight I suppose that's where the price difference comes in from camelcamelcamel with the import fees.

The quality is amazing, they went through and Remastered this set on a frame by frame basis cleaning up the images and making corrections. It depends what you like really. This is probably the cleanest dragonball Z set picture wise I've seen. Personally though I prefer the original aspect ratio rather than wide-screen but let's face it. The only way to get dragonball Z in its true form is to buy the dragon boxes on dvd (if you can find them that is) even then you are looking at probably £100 per series. This is the only option right now if you want dragon ball z on blu-ray. I would highly recommend them as at this price the blu rays are cheaper than the horrible orange bricks sets on dvd with the terrible cropping.
Won' whoever delivers this slap a fee ontop as well? Also, how does Amazon's import fee deposit work?

Basically you pay amazon the price at the checkout and that's the total cost for the item. Import fees and delivery fees are included in the final price.

So I won't have royal mail or whoever say they want their usual 10 quid handling fee or whatever? And the Amazon customs fee is guaranteed to cover any import fees?

When I ordered mine I got no additional fees whatsoever.

Thanks for the info LazybeatX. I am currently on Episode 12 streamed over the net and am seriously considering this set in light of what you've said about the remaster. Cheers

It's 291
Ordered this a few weeks ago as soon as the price dropped, was in no rush so could wait for the set to come back in stock. It arrived last Friday in perfect condition, just under a week after dispatch from US. My son hasn't had anything else on his TV since it arrived! 😊
