This has gone down in price recently, (was £4.99 about a week ago) but at £3.99 this is cheapest I will likely find it new so I have decided to grab it and try it out! Still £10.90 on Amazon.

Seems like a great game, with lots of character and vocation customisation options, probably with 30+ hours gameplay.

Lots in stock (London) at time of posting.

Just make sure they don't try and charge you more like they did with me last week. Their system said it had never been £4.99 despite it still showing on the website, they kept saying I needed to refresh my reservation email as the price must have change! Took a while to convince them emails don't need refreshing...

Thanks, I've ordered one. I've heard it's not one of the best in the series, but for £3.99 it's still good to own as part of the whole series.

This was my favourite of the series, made me play the others

Reserved, cheers!

Seems Argos allow 3 days to pick up reservations now rather than 2 which is welcome.

Nice price snapped it up.

Nah, that's because they get the item delivered to their store for you to pick up,

On things which they have in stock you still have until the end of the next day.

Strange... on my email it says "Collection window: Now to Friday 25 July", but if they have to get it delivered, then I assume if I went today it wouldn't be in stock. If that's the case then it's not good of Argos to be advising dates when the item isn't available.

Ah maybe it's store specific then, just placed an order and it says I have to get it by the end of Thurs 24th

Love how Amazon price match GAME almost instantly, but other places like Argos they let it slip.

Not sure if Amazon verified sellers get told to reduce prices?

Great game, the first I have played in the series to be honest and I loved every aspect of it.

Ignore the "collection window" note. It's always wrong. I recently bought Pokemon Black on day X. It said collection from day X-1 to X+5. Went the next day, they didn't have it. Or the correct price. So leave it 2 days after ordering and take your reservation note with the price. If they don't honour it, ask them to look it up on the website. That usually does the trick.

As for the game - one of the best on the DS (or 3DS) especially if you like turn based battling RPGs like Final Fantasy. Bravely Default (3DS) is really good too. As for DQ IX, I thought it was a steal when I picked it up new last year for £10! Heat.

The price on day of collection (same as the day of reservation) was £4.99 on the website but they tried to charge me £6.99 saying it had never been £4.99. Everytime in the past I have reserved something that has subsequently increased in price when I want to go and get it they have charged the lower price. They must have changed that recently as my email for the game stated the following:

"Thanks for shopping at Argos.co.uk. If you requested it, we'll also send your reservation number by text.
Please remember that these items have not yet been paid for. Please quote your reservation number at the store."

Steel diver is also down to £3.99 I paid £5.99 a week ago

Picked this up today, great price.

Cheers op. Gives me an excuse to get out my DS for the first time in two years.

Excellent game, one of the few that I've both completed (the main story anyway) and enjoyed all the way through.

Picked one up today, cheers op!

Great price for a game that has potentially hundreds of hours of entertainment.
