Already have this on physical, and for this price, it's worth getting on digital.

Mixi... is it just me, or is this game a tad over-rated?

Obligatory heat as always...
Hot from me! Personally I would prefer paying few quids more and have it on blu-ray.

I have only played this on Vita and I found the art and the graphics very unique with good OST. I have also played muramasa rebirth on vita which I think stands right behind this. I really enjoyed playing this.

Same... Got the game on Vita. Enjoyed it, but thought it was a case of style over substance.

Got the game again on PS4. Played it a tad. Got bored. And never went back.

EDIT: FF7R however.... now that is a game where we see an ample case of style and substance coalescing together to form a perfect whole.

I am one trophy short from the platinum on FF7 remake and that requires me beating the chapter 18 on hard only. FF7 remake is a solid game that owes all its success to the story of FF7 original. Otherwise it would've been another FF15. My only complaint about it would be the unnecessary interactions with objects, i.e. ladders, doors etc and some stupid fillers the game has got. Also, chapter 18 proves how good the original game presented its story and how bad a plot addition can be for it.

I loved this on the Vita, too.

It's funny you mention Muramasa. The Rebirth Complete Collection is £6.59 on the Vita for a few days more, as part of the Big in Japan sale (usually £21.99).
Bought a physical copy a while back. It's like Golden Axe crossed with Diablo. Which sounds good but actually I found it pretty dull. I will try and go back to it at some point though to see what all the fuss is about.
@mixmixi I’m unsure about getting this.

Got Muramasa and Odin Sphere. Muramasa is such a fluid game with an amazing art style.

Dragons Crown has the art but looks clunky on videos

As I mentioned this stands above Muramasa for me. Decision is yours to make. I have no played the PS4 version but I don't think it is massively different from the vita version. I think they only improved the graphics etc in this one (if not mistaken).

Ha! Don't spoil it for others. I do, but KH's plot is for KH games not FF series. They have really ruined the ending in FF7 remake IMO. Should've left it opened or let you fight that giant snake instead.

Yeah only difference is 4K graphics.

I believe you can play online with friends even if you have a PS4 and the have a Vita which is a nice touch

Sorry I couldn't resist it was a pretty clever idea going all "meta" with the watchers but not too sure on the execution

Kinda like that they've given themselves an "in universe" way of changing things up in future (whenever that happens - probably 2047)

As you say it, was absolutely brilliant up to that last chapter... Although I made a prediction to one of my friends before it came out that Seph would turn up dancing around in the first 10 minutes and lo and behold!

You should not reveal much in case someone here has not played it yet.

I also read yesterday that the part is only in planning stage and the guy who designed the midgar does not have much clue how the rest of the world looked like. If true, I doubt if we see the second part anytime in the next few years... What a mistake SE did to put themselves in a KH a-like situation where this time everyone knows how the story should go and they cannot make a small mistake going off route. They really should've released it as a huge game and just charged the bundle price instead. I would've been happy to pay £100-£150 to get all the parts together as one single release instead.

Now that we have fought the main villein (although not exactly himself) I don't know how else they would be satisfy the fans in the next part... I insist, an open ending was much more pleasing with that cut-scene they gave us at the end of part 1.

I've yet to play FF7 in any form. I'm patiently waiting on a special edition release, which will likely be in like 5 years. I want to play all the modern remakes in year.

Also, never played Chrono Trigger, heard that's supposed to be nice.

I’m pretty sure you’ll end up playing it before then. with a part 2 being so far ahead the part one will hit a bargain price at some point where you’d be tempted to buy and play it.

Chrono trigger was an amazing game back in the time. An had remaster if it would be amazing!
