The critically acclaimed action-RPG Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen combines exhilarating and deep combat with the freedom to explore a huge open world. Enter the high-fantasy setting of Gransys, a land where fabled monsters such as dragons roam.

Choose between three different starter classes known as jobs, which you can further develop for a total of nine unique classes. Use the deep combat system to wield devastating skills and magics to take on fabled monsters or climb onto them for an up close and personal attack!

As the Arisen, you are joined on your adventure by followers known as Pawns. This unique gameplay system not only allows you to be joined by up to three of these AI companions and take advantage of their assistance during combat and exploration, but to exchange Pawns with friends and other players online. Each Pawn's appearance can be designed with a detailed character creation system, letting you share your customised companions with the community.

All previously released paid DLC is included, making this the ultimate version of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen.

Without a doubt, my favorite action RPG port on the switch. Its a fantastic game with decent combat. Highly recommended.

Bought this on release and still haven't played it 😬. Enjoyed what I played of it on playstation. Decent price for what seems to be a huge game.
It's a real shame this never got a physical in Europe. This a good price
I’ve really got into RPGs like Skyrim and The Witcher on Switch. Is this in a similar vein?

Kind of similar, but a bit different, yet equally as enjoyable.
Good game but be careful you can complete it by mistake and miss out on half the game... weird game tbh.
One of the finest action RPGs of all time.
Thanks for posting. Is this local 2 player do you know? Cant find any info online to be certain. Thanks

It's single player. You do get NPC characters that tag along with you, and one main one that you can define their class, look, etc.
It means you always have backup, and can add different classes to supplement yours.

It works really well, and the game is hugely replayable. Plus you can change your own class whenever you want.

The world traversal and huge monsters/battles are like nothing else ever created. It's a unique action RPG and it's unlikely much of the combat/action will ever be bettered in the next few years.

Wait until you encounter a random golem that rises from the earth or a Griffen that takes you for a ride!

You will probably enjoy this more if you like more interaction and combat as you can pick up a lot of side quests and also grind xp and level as you want. Sticking to the main is a bit confusing but it's easy once you know where the main quests are driven from.

Leveling, opening classes, builds, etc. Is super fun if you like grinding. There is a lot of playability long term if you want so it's really good value.

Definitely my favourite arpg on the switch to date and a different experience to Skyrim which is a fantastic game but more explorative in some ways but with less frequent combat.

Its a lot more combat centric than Skyrim with the RPG elements taking more of a backseat. Its a fantatsic game that's overshadowed by Monster Hunter.

I played it on the Xbox360 and it has some of my fondest gaming memories. There's a place down by the coast where I got ambushed at night fighting off a horde of goblins and two trolls/cyclops with ballisate raining down exploding barrels into the mix. There were only two main light sources, the torches the goblins were holding and the goblins that had been set on fire by being hit by the exploding barrels.

Yep, and slightly misleading having a picture of the box here and on the daily email.
Also, £14.10 Russia saves a couple more quid.
Started this and learnt a few tips online to make the game a bit easier and an enjoying it. Never got into it on the ps3, which i remember being free via psplus many years ago.
Great price for a wicked game! The graphics are a bit blurry at times but it's still a good port. I need to revisit this as I finished the main story but the game really opens up at that point.
Looks a bit Witcher meets Shadow of the Colossus, think I'll pick it up

Masterworks all, you can't go wrong
Cheers for this, giving it a go
Such a great game and plays really well on Switch!
If Dragon Age and The Witcher had an affair with Dark Souls, this would be the love child. Absolutely brilliant game.

Strength in numbers, Arisen!
Loving it so far, i urge people to check out starter guides to enjoy the experience, but don’t want to post spoilers!
