You can pick up for free at toolstation.

& if you think you can get this down a blocked pipe for 6m (let alone 7m) then I think you overate the product. Its hard enough getting it past a plughole & around the trap.

will this work on an outside gutter ? the drain where my roof/guttering water falls into is blocked and this is somewhat larger than say a kitchen sink drain.

yes im struggling with terminology here. but i think you will know what i mean.

Put a normal hose pipe down it with water on to help it through. That's what I do it's the best way

I must admit it is the very best money can buy, been using it in 3-4 occasions and saved me 100's. Better than any water pipe or even water power jet (I own it) which usually cannot get through bends. Obviously only a matter to find the best price around. Not sure why they could not make a longer one. The much longer one are more heavy duty and different and not that easy to work with in any situation.

Best money can buy??? Sorry I disagree.

Drain cleaners of this time often only poke a hole through the blockage anyhow.

I think the one you proposing is only good for a sink, in a proper drainage pipe would be useless because might not grab, push or pull anything. Not sure why is that expensive anyway, I can also take mine out of the case and use a drill even so is not suggested

The Rothenburger does exactly the same job, to be fair both of them are equally useless in some cases such as around a trap or a 90 degree knuckle bend.
The Rothenburger is so expensive because its a professional German made tool used by professionals, not a DIY model.
A top of the range Rothenburger drain machine is just shy of £1,700 at Screwfix.
The one described in the OP is still worth a try in some cases and a reasonable price, but I still dispute the "best money can buy" comment.

"best money can buy" is related to the cost and the great job it can do in most cases and for the price it is an absolute must to keep in the shed ready for the need same as if it was an hammer and few more simple tools that can be useful at any time. If you want to spend 1000's there is still no assurance that it can make a particular job
