At that price it's worth having as a spare, to save changing disc types so often.
Excellent spot.

Nice find Pen

Could not see anything about click and collect available from one of their stores, nor a stock finder. Don't want to pay extra for delivery, and then not in, etc.

What is the point of having stores if the website does not allow you to buy from them?

Can also be used for polishing cars if used with the right heads.

Not my favourite tool to use, but heat added

Hmmm, true. However, been happy with my Einhell belt sander so far and was well reviewed. For me, if I’m not going to use it that much, I’m happy to go with a decent bargain. That said, if it was still £26, I’d go go for the Bosch one for £35 at Screwfix.

Surely the real question is, does it come in a nice plastic case?!

Ooh I'm interested in this. Tips please? What heads would you need for this one?

Ignore the polisher, check the heads which can be used. But the grinder would need a variable speed setting.

Sad... it is OOS everywhere, otherwise it'd have been another collection to my tool kit.

worth buying 4 times at this price though. I'm a welder fabricator so go through a lot of grinders regardless of make, don't bother with expensive ones anymore when you can get a cheap one for 10 odd quid!

Tried my local store in Watford, showing 8 in stock but when they checked there were none, also no Draper at £12.49 either.

Got one in store at Lakeside, two left on shelf but the boxes were all damaged.

This, they all burn out pritty soonish even the crazy expensive ones

Any good for a wheel clamp? Asking for a friend.

Got the last one (Draper) at my local - on the shelf at £24.99 but scanned at half price.

Adequate for my occasional use.

Brilliant deal - thanks for posting OP.

Is it a grinder for tiles?

Apart from when you dont have to buy twice because cheap is perfectly adequate in the 21st century manufacturing world.

Naaaaa disagree

Can you do any degree of deck sanding with this thing?

Anyone know if this would be any good for removing paint from stone outside? Our wall has thick black gloss paint that is flaking off some places & stuck on like superglue elsewhere so want to get down to bare stone before painting.

It's not soft or sandstone btw, it's tough stuff, I've seen people use handheld tools removing paint from them but unsure what I'm after.

I bought a cheap bottom of the range B&Q one some time ago and it smoked from the motor with ost usages.

It was just for an 'emergency' (namely getting access to the rest of my tools, after having lost the key) so didn't bother to try and return it - I suspected "they all do that".

Seems ok up to now

Wow such inspirational words - I must be the luckiest man alive then as I have a number of very cheap power tools and they are only used for occasional DIY but are still going strong after years. I don't disagree that for daily use these are probably not good enough but that is the reason there are so many other options out there!

Normally I’d agree. Not with angle grinders though. We’ve bought expensive and cheap ones. The expensive ones on average do last a little bit longer..... but not 10 times longer. So buying cheap ones at this price will last the average person years.

A grinder is way too fast.
