Ridiculous metric rainbow spanner’s. Brexit will sort this out, let’s get back to inches and tuberculosis

Good idea!
£4.95 for delivery, cheaper buying from ebay.
Brought these the other day, well worth the price
Not enough size 10 in this kit

I personally believe there is a landfill somewhere filled with lost size 10 sockets and spanners.

this may look gimmicky but its actually probably really useful if you are using every day and can pick out the one you need from a draw full of sh!te with hardly a glance. Heat!

Yes. Brought from the shop to home.
Why do these sets never include an 18mm?!?!?
Really wish those are usb cables with such pretty colors

It's always 13mm's for me (sockets and spanners) must have lost buckets full of them over the years

I'm with pcmustard on this. I swear the world is fastenedd together by 10mm nuts and bolts. There's also a team of folk trained to steal or hide your 10mm spanners.

They're cheap sets for DIY. Buy a better set, it'll have them all.

True, but I seem to use my 18mm a lot and I’m just doing DIY. I’d prefer they didn’t drop any but it seems like a strange choice when there are spanners I never seem to use.

There is presumably a reason they omit the 18mm but I’m yet to work it out.

18mm is one of the biggest in those size sets so dropping it would make a big difference in production costs(more than say, dropping the 11mm even though 11mm is pretty useless).

It is also probably one of the least used in that range from a work shop point of view. European cars use 8,10,13,15,17 and 19. 16 and 18 are used but more so when there's serious work to be done(hence serious sets have them).

Asian cars use mostly the even numbers so a set like this would suit most light garage work, cover most basis.

18 is used but it would be the one I'd cut if I was marketing this set.

Just my opinion of course
Nicely considered answer. Cheers.

I only ever hear friends in the south of England mix brought and bought up.
It would be good if all spanners and sockets were to be colour coded to a standard set of colours agreed by all tool makers. I would suggest that 10mm should be the most striking colour and none should be black.

Can't wait to buy my imperial size tools for 3 shillings and a tuppence, while smoking inside a shop...
