Hot. Great drill.
Robert Dyas, title says Argos! Looks good, may cancel my order for the £19.99 Black and Decker still and go for this... Any DIY-heads have a view on whether this is better for the money, and whether Draper 18v batteries are cross-compatible with other brands?

This one is stronger, with some luck you may ay find the B&D 18v version for £35. As far as I am aware the batteries are not compatible with other brands.
If you need a stronger one, this one is ok, but I believe the B&D is better value and better brand.

Thanks for the input! Might stick with the £19.99 one then, as I don’t really need the hammer function.

Not only the hammer function. The 18v is generally stronger. A 10.8 as the B&D may do the job, if nothing major.
My B&D is 18v and was great for small jobs in the house and a 10.8 should be ok too. However,I did some 'bigger' jobs on my decking last summer and even it still works, it shows signs it will not last long. So if it is to use it for something bigger, 18v will be better.
I have 2 Draper tools, including a drill, but I found B&D drill better, easier to use and lighter.
A great drill, thanks so much
