I wouldn't. I bought this set for my 10 year old thinking they would be a good introduction to craftsman tools. I couldn't hone them to a decent sharpness to make them safe tools and returned them. He is now using some knackered old marples that my uncle gave him. Okay for a DIYer that wants the "all the gear, but no idea".

Draper is really really really poor quality even for a DIYer
If you want a decent set of chisels for quality woodworking (i.e. not hacking out door frames with a chisel and lump hammer) then I can highly recommend Narex chisels. Made in Czech Republic, there are sets of 4 on eBay for about £35 with hornbeam handles, brass ferrules and very good steel blades that hold an edge and are ground thin at the side edges for getting into corners (ideal for furniture making). I've had mine a few years and they are wonderful to use.

You don't need a huge number of chisels, and the guide and stone included with the draper will be frustrating trash anyway. Scour car boot sales/eBay for a used two sided India stone and learn to freehand your angles.

Best cheap set I found were from Aldi. Didn't take long at all to get them flat and honed. About £8 I think and used the money saved to buy a veritas honing guide.

I have a set of those, they are good for the money and need a fair bit of work but are perfectly serviceable afterwards. Main issue is they don't come around very often.
