Just picked up 18x cans of Draught Guinness for £11 in Scarborough store. Drink by date of May 2013 so cheap if your buying it in for Chistmas. it works out at about 61p per can I think.

Good for Arthurs day this Thursday although I'll be celebrating on the Friday instead.

Good price & even better beer. Just a shame about the smell the next morning oO

HOT but best served cold. My preferred pint - larger just makes me feel uncomfortable

Superhot, hic.

Not available in NI, supercold, hic.

Voted hot for you mainland viewers anyway.

JFC, get paid tomorrow, skint it is then !

See youve fallen for the marketing!
Cracking deal

Does anyone know if this is nationwide? If so where did you look to find out? Can't find anything about it on the website.

I'm pretty sure they didn't have these in the Hillsborough store, may be wrong though

Drop a shot of vodka in a pint of this. U can't taste the voddy but after 4 pints try and walk without smashing your face on the curb haha.

That sounds horrific!!!

Hot deal though, although as much as I like Guinness it doesn't taste the best out of a can

What on earth is Arthur's day?

What on earth is Arthur's day?

The British company Diageo, the current owners of the Guinness brand created Arthurs Day as a way of marketing the drink to a younger demographic by creating a series of concerts in 2009. Now You are just supposed to raise a glass of the black stuff at 17:59 on the 27th of September in honour of Arthur Guinness, founder of Guinness and one of the most famous Irish protestants of all time.

Just like most of the marketing campaigns invented for Guinness its was designed to make it look hip and cool and remove the old stereotype of it being just a drink for old toothless Irishmen who have a piece of string for a belt.

just phoned about 10 stores near me and none are doing this offer

Not nationwide then?

Unfortunately it hasn't worked

Hmm Guinness!

Over £20 in Bolton

Steaming if your local store has this offer on.

Ah, didn't know about the max £10 thing, the 8 items wouldn't be a problem as part of a regular weekly Tesco shop for us anyway.

This offer was only at Morrisons Scarborough store which appeared in the afternoon on Saturday 22nd October. All units sold out by Sunday evening - no surprise there!

It would be rude to not buy and drink it at this price !HOT

Aye but maybe stores in other locations are also running this offer... at this price definitely worth a shot.

Not on offer in my store

Nor mine, did get the Baileys £15 for 2 x 1l Biscotti, but the 18 packs of Guinness were £21.99, despite having the same May 2013 best before date as the OPs. Well, same month, maybe not same day. Oh well, grabbed 18 John Smiths for £11.70 (staff discount), obviously Guinness is much nicer but this was cheap and available

not in Bristol cribbs

... It's getting very hot if it's a deal only one person managed to buy!

Whatever happened to the Guinness surger? Did it not catch on?

http://www.gadgetreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/04/guinness-surger.jpg

It would definitely be hot if nationwide ...

... but just one store, and that one now sold out, makes it seem like it ought to be marked 'Expired' - certainly not voted hotter.

None in York but they did have the 2x 1L Baileys biscotti for £15. Also 6x Hobgoblin 500ml bottles for £7.

Not in Birmingham, should be listed as a local deal as it is not nationwide

OP has made a typo - should be £21, not £11... "deal" appears to be a scam.

I ordered a pint of Guinness in a hotel a year ago after seeing what I thought was a Guinness tap... turned out I'd just paid £4 for a can of that surger stuff (the 'tap' was actually a small metal plate that the put the poured glass on, and it goes all... well... 'cloudy'). Paid £4.50 at Nottingham Arena for one last year, but let them off as that was an arena and I expected to be ripped off, but pubs doing these cans at cask prices is madness.

I don't think you can buy the surger kits for home use any more, and they would probably be stupidly expensive for the cans anyway.
