Kit 2 same price. Given the kits without the TRVs are usually about £99, and TRVs are rarely below £39 each, this price saves you a tenner

Bare in mind kit 2 is for separate heating and water systems... Kit 1 is for combi boilers.. I'm unsure whether kit 2 would also work for a combi boiler but with the extra button for the water on the control unit?
Thanks, I brought kit 2, now seen its already sold out with an hour to go.
I bought this just a couple of weeks ago at 199.99
People need to be careful, many old TRVs cannot be replaced directly with the smart TRV, because the size of secure nut is different. There are adapters, but they are expensive like £13 each.

I'm pretty sure the Drayton kits come with a couple of different sized adapters to fit the different valves?

Kit 2 is still available at £169.99. You can only buy it once at the lightning deal price though and then will go back up to its original price

The kit 2 without the TRVs was 99 quid for one day only about a month ago. I missed it and have been waiting for a deal since. This is a good price so glad i managed to snap this one up.

To cover a house and get a return on the investment looks like it would take a few years at £100 a year? Any indication whether this saves much money or just improves heat?
For what it's worth, I've noticed that if I manually turn the TRV down up stairs the rooms directly below take longer to reach the desired temperature. I think this is due to the heat raising into the colder room below.

Hmm - this or the Honeywell Evohome system? Both seem quite similar in function with multi zones etc.

I’m looking for the best product with the most options really for zonal heating where I can use an app and geofencing maybe. I think the Wiser is cheaper but not sure it has as many options, but haven’t been able to compare side by side

Wiser has geofencing capabilities via IFTTT. Check out wiser.draytoncontrols.co.uk/sma…ome for info 👌🏻

Unfortunately the adapters included do not cover most people. It seems orkli or Siemens TRV are very common, which have M28x1.0 thread. It is very difficult to buy suitable adapter for it.
