The heating and hot water kit 2 has also dropped from £200 to £114. Thanks OP, been waiting for this....

Yeah, think I’m going to bite this time. Sub £100 has to be worth a go I reckon
Cracking price, even for just the thermostats to add to rooms in an existing system it's a bargain.
We currently have a Drayton RF thermostat connected wirelessly to a Bosch Greenstar Heatslave ii. The boiler itself has a 7 day Drayton timer thing.

What do these thermostats use to talk to the boiler? Does everything you need come in the box if I wanted to fit it myself?

May I suggest before purchasing that you have a word with WorcesterBosch. The reason why, is my neighbour bought a Hive Thermostat for her Worcester boiler and found to her cost that it didn't work with her Greenstar CD40cdi boiler. Of course, this product could be entirely different and I may be barking up the wrong tree but thought it worth a mention.

I had a Drayton RF that was connected wirelessly to a DigistatSCR receiver, that was itself connected to a Lifestyle LP522 control unit (that then operated the boiler via standard 5 core wiring). Is that similar to your setup? I doubt the digistat RF controls the boiler itself.

I upgraded to a Wiser stat and it was easy to fit. I wasn't lucky enough that the Wiser fitted onto the same back plate, but the wires were all there in exactly the same order as required so I just had to unscrew the backplate from the wall, move the wires (5 of them IIRC) over to the new backplate int he same order, screw that to the wall and fit the wiser control box onto that. Was very easy (not quite wiring a plug easy, but not far off) and doubtless made easier by replacing a Drayton system with another one.

Otherwise an engineer isn't going to charge you much I wouldn't have thought.

How have you found the system overall? Hearing lots of negatives about signal range
Does anyone have any experience in creating two zones? I would love to have different zones for upstairs and downstairs. Thanks
I love it. No problems with signal over three floors.

@achilles I have 7 zones and it works a treat.
