it varies, but I would recommend at least 2

if you only go once every other day, then try to up it to once a day and then once established 3 every 2 days and so forth

I used to only manage 3 times a week but with a lot of exertion and determination at least 40 mins each time I can now manage 4 times a week, I will reach my goal of every day in a few years I'm sure

Joking aside i am sure you can train it. It makes sense the quicker you can process food and get rid of it, the better. At one point i was a 3 or 4 a day. Now I'm back to 2 and my weight is on the up during lockdown.
