The new T20 is out and isn't much more. No need to deal with Aliexpress either.

I like the look of this one more though.
Is it worth waiting for the T20? I can get this in 5 to 7 days from the EU. The next batch of T20 will only start shipping in November and they have not said exactly how long it will take.

I doubt the T20 will be much better. The deal breaker for me is the exchangeable battery. I ordered early bird T20 on that fact alone. I dislike the way it looks mind.

If you need one soon.. skip the T20.

I’d say the battery would be easily swapped out the same as the Dreame V9 (which I have) - that’s just three screws and the bottom battery unit pops out ready to be swapped
Ok thanks. T20 is supposed to be lighter. Lighter compared to what?
Also it has higher suction power 10AW difference, improved battery, auto adaptive suction power? I suppose I could wait.
Warranty is UK based? It just says they have service centres in Europe.

No idea about warranty. Not too fussed.. if it breaks they better damn replace it.

Review on the T20
V12 is in the way too. I order t20 I’m not in a rush
Does anyone know which Dyson handheld vacuum both this XR Premium model and the new T20 model would be roughly equivalent to? Thanks...

If Dyson made a V9 (they don’t!) then it would be the equivalent of an XR.... the XR is miles better than a Dyson V8 but not quite as powerful as a V10.

The T20 is the direct competitor to the Dyson V10 in terms of suction power, but is actually a better vacuum. Longer batter time, led display showing battery, more attachments.... it’s kind of like a slightly less powerful V11, only at less than half the price

I wonder if the v12 will be as powerful as the dyson v11?

Yep it will be identical - 185 air watts, only the Dreame V12 has a claimed run time of 90 minutes which is crazy!
I don't like that they are going down the Dyson route of a combo head with the T20; the XR like the Dyson V10 Absolute has both hard floor and carpet heads. The hard floor head is much better on hard floors than a combo head especially for larger pieces of debris. XR is probably my favourite for this reason as it's nearly a third of the price of the Dyson and will probably clean hard floors nearly as well as any cordless stick vacuum (I guess the Dyson will be a little better but it's £450)...
