Cat treat advent calendars??? Why oh why!

My cat is hopelessly addicted to dreamies.

Don't get them started!!!!

My kitten has one, the last box has a mouse toy too.

Do you need a cat with thumbs?

lol

I was in a card shop the other day and they had a section for pets e.g 'For my Special Cat' etc. If you'd buy that in preference to giving a bit to charity then you need to have a good think about your life.

Couldn't agree with you more. Does a cat really give a sh1t whether it's got an advent calender or a birthday card....i think not.

That's news to me, didn't even though there was such a thing as a retarded cat?

It's not really the point that it is in an advent calendar (it's a pretty ridiculous idea), the point is it works out cheaper than buying a packet of treats.

Hate them ,cats that is not the treats !oO

Then this possibly isn't the thread for you....

Just a thought.

lol my son was desperate to buy one for our cat but i thought it was pretty silly. Now I'd be tempted, as you said its cheaper than buying a bag

Now don't moan when your cat complains it didn't get to open it on 1st Dec in order day by day....

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against giving animals treats they actually appreciate, this just happened to reminded me about the card I saw.

My cat has to have hers the very second I wake up, no peace until shes got them! lol

I tried to order a Dreamies advent calendar with my online shop last week but they substituted it for a Good Girl Christmas stocking, which I rejected. My cat loves Dreamies and she does little tricks for them. She also loves to chase things around, so the mouse in the last door would have been great! Silly, yes, but good fun and the cat would definitely have appreciated it!

WTH?? This wins as one of the most nonsensical posts on this site. NOWHERE does anyone say that people that buy those cards, don't donate to charity. How they spend their money is up to them, and you can't possibly know what their life is like. How you put cat cards and charity together, is beyond me. If you go in a bar, I'm sure you don't say to every person as they buy a drink, "hey, think about your life, you should be giving that money to charity".

Ours only gets then at eight in the evening.

At 7.55 without fail he wakes up and heads for the coffee table and glares at us until we feed him.

Remember, cats aren't just for Christmas. You can eat them any day of the year.

Ahh. What a lovely fluffy world you must live in. Your comment paints a very clear picture of yourself. I don't think our worlds overlap so I won't try any explain anything further to you. If it makes you happy, keep sending your dog/cat/fish, whatever, a card. I'm sure it'll love you all the more for it.

Just as yours paints a very clear picture of yours Because nowhere in my post did I say that I have EVER sent a card to a non-human. I haven't. I just don't have some weird issue with people that do. Why not go and actually post a deal on the site, your very first one after nearly five years of snide comments on other people's. Merry Christmas Mr Scrooge
