This might go cold as you can get a few cheaper electric blankets like the Silent Night ones in ASDA stores etc. But thought I'd share for anyone who likes the Dreamland ones with the 6 heat settings and option to heat for 1hr or 9hrs.
This one also fits like a fitted sheet rather than with straps/ties around the bed, so they do not scrunch up or move like others I've tried.

Love these electric blankets. We lost the controls for ours when we moved and Argos on eBay are selling the single at £19.99 with free delivery which is around the same price a spare controller on eBay at the mo. Hope it helps someone!...

Selling for around £49.99 elsewhere and were £59.99 on the Dreamland website (although out of stock now)

Has anyone got one of these? Reckon I could doctor it to work on a king size bed (one side)?? I want one but him indoors doesn’t. Been looking at dual control but so expensive and seems pointless if only one side being used!
5% Cashback with Topcashback ends tomorrow- heat added iv been looking for these. Silent night versions dont last !!

The Silent Night ones are flat and use string to be held in place. Easy enough to extend to make it go around a larger bed.

These are like fitted sheets, so won't be suitable.

Damn I missed out on the double.

Had this blanket for TWELVE years and still going strong.

Easy to wash, tumble dry friendly an built like a TANK. At this rate mine will probably outlive me!

Are you serious lol

There is minimum current/volts going through the wee heatwires so no- the Controller box will if you pee on it lol

It will cut off if water hits it, Why there is a fuse in the plug. and a trip switch in your main electric box in your home

Thank you. Ordered one for my daughter.
Could you use something like this as a heated throw for an armchair (for example)? So you'd get heated back, heated seat even somewhere to heat your feet. As long as you kept the creases out, would there be anything to worry about?

This particular one no as it's like a fitted sheet with elasticated edges so would be a nightmare to keep on a chair. But they do make heated throws for that purpose and heated pads and cushions too. I've not looked for a good deal on those though so not sure how cheap you could pick one up for. Here's the throw: dreamlanduk.co.uk/pro…ow/
i have the super king one its great seperate settings for both sides doesnt ping off either and mine is an extra thick matress

Thanks for this. In my mind I was thinking of getting rid of the elasticated skirt (except maybe from the top to hang over the back of the chair). By throw I was thinking more of something you throw over the chair, not yourself Ideally I would just like something to keep my tootsies warm. Something the size of a doormat that heats up. The nearest product they have for doing though is

this and I think I'd rather lose a couple of toes to frostbite before becoming this frumpy.
Bit the bullet and bought it
theyre out of doubles

I have the double version of this (dual control either side), had it for 3 years, use it every single night, best purchase I've ever made in my life. Def recommend the king dual control as it will fit on the bed, and you'll feel the edges otherwise. Once you start using it you'll wonder how to lived without. You won't need central heating again

They have elastic sides which wrap around a bed so it wouldn't work on one half of a double.
Thanks for this. My daughter always complains how cold it is here in the north when she visits me so this is really helpful
got mine delivered today - they delivered 2 instead of 1 so thats a bonus. 2 seperate packages, one a newer model than the other.
Thank you @mummypatty Was wanting a new electric blanket and this was the one I was looking for but didn't want to pay 50 quid. Really happy you posted this deal. Mine arrived today. Thanks again.
