Put it on PC and I'll play it, but consoles suck.

The PC version is out already, it's called "programming"...

Pre order? It’s out today

Some of us have had it 9 months....

Had what?
Where do they get the RRP of £54.99 from?! It's £34.99 on PSN and no more than that everywhere else.

Has a 91 on Metacritic so far and seems to have been generally well-liked by the early access community. Looks cool, I'll probably give it a whirl in a few weeks when the in-game library is a bit bulkier.

The game, what else could they mean?!

Who owns the IP for anything you create?
I just received my pre-order from Argos today - ordered 25/05/2018 - Wee bonus on the £44.95 refund!

Could have meant preorder. I’m just confused at how they got the PS4 game 9 months before release

Does it say that on the release EULA?

It has been available on early access for a while now. Fairly unusual for a console game I guess, but makes sense for a game like this one.

I'm not sure but why would they lie?

I think it's probably more complicated than that, and I wouldn't necessarily trust brief soundbites from MM employees made some time ago. Though we don't know exactly what the EULA says.

Of course what is made in Dreams is restricted to being played in that ecosystem. But if there were a like-for-like port of a Dreams game on another system, I'm pretty sure Sony wouldn't like that.

Not up to them is it as Sony is the parent company.

Like when DOTA went to Valve which was created as mod within Warcraft which is why Act/Bliz has stated in there EULA that they own all things created within the new Warcraft and the creator does not even need to be notified

Yup. I remember Killing Floor was originally an Unreal Tournament mod and later released by Tripwire as a standalone game on PC. Did very well and ended up spawning a multi-platform sequel. I'm sure Atari would've loved to lock down that IP! Incidentally, the first Killing Floor is my most-played game on Steam (181h). It's a great game!

Ah right that makes sense now. Dude probably should have started with that

Very curious about this.

But you might as well buy the digital version for the same price given there's not much on the disc, and all the creations will be downloaded. Unless you're likely to resell it of course.

There was some talk recently of how Mm want us to be able to place our creations on pc...but nothing on a pc port of dreams. The suggestion is Dreams will stay exclusive to a Sony platform but creations can be played away from it. Quite how that will work I don't know. But it would be good to be able to at the very least play my music away from it properly.
I think the fact they're saying they would like to...rather than they're actually working on it, tells us Sony probably owns whatever is created in dreams...
