And the dates are..
Pretty self explanatory if you just click on the link........
Thanks just booked for a Saturday in February. The £99 price is only for the Friday dates, but we didn't mind paying an extra £30 for the Saturday as we would get more time to enjoy the facilities (plus hubby would not be best pleased if he had to drive to Surrey on a Fri eve after a long day at work!). Thanks, our son loves Madagascar etc so hopefully he will have a great time :-)
Question... it states that the £99 price is based on a family of 4 sharing a room. Would I have to pay more for a family of 3? This is a wicked deal hope that I can convince the misses!
Bit of a con that the theme park isn't open at the same time

And you also need to take into account the return train fare (for 2 adults and 2 children) from Chessington South to London Waterloo is another £40.

Not a con at all it's clearly stated on the offer page. Considering that admission to the theme park alone would cost over £100 for a family of four are you honestly expecting a hotel room, breakfast and full use of the facilities for nothing? Still a good deal with the zoo and sea life admission included in my opinion.

That depends on what y

That depends on what you call a good deal.

The £99 offer is effectively a zoo day and an overnight stay at the Chessington Hotel for 4 people. Zoo days can be had for as little as £9pp (from the official chessington site) and are actually free for children under 1m tall (I don't see any sign of that in this offer). So you could technically be paying paying £71 for a night in a themed room at an upgraded Travellodge.

I would say, however, that the £159 (inc Shrek) version of the offer is actually alright considering your are getting 4 tickets for the Shrek attraction, which are currently £100, for £60

Fair point we are happy enough with the price especially considering it includes meet and greet with the Dreamworks characters, full breakfast, splash pool sauna and jacuzzi etc. Haven't stayed at the hotel before so can't make the Travelodge comparison but will let you know next February!
